When Diplomacy Fails

Has anyone else, who listens to the podcast by Zachary Twamley, like to compare the actors to players of the actual board game? I’m currently treating Russia’s diplomacy in the crises before 1914 as a Diplomacy Fails Compilation and it works surprisingly well.
