I’m glad to hear there’s interest, and that sounds fantastic, making it all on the forum, that way there could be a GM. I think I’ll go ahead and make this... I’ll put up a roster now, spread the word

Although, I feel like it would be better if the actual game was gunboat, and it would be "public press" in a forum thread, where said press and any moves be gained. You'd probably also want a GM, just in case, to keep track of who actually can move and who can't.

(of course, there is definitely an integrity part to it, so if there's any worry over people moving when they shouldn't, unranked will take care of it due to incentive).

this setup could make some interesting phases where someone could potentially be in a spot for a solo, but they cannot move lol

I know this doesn't really fit into this area of the forum, but I didn't want it in off topic because I want avid players to see it. Anyways..

My idea for the game was that only one country can move every turn, which could be decided by something unrelated to the game, such as a competition to see who can earn their move, or it could be done in a turn based fashion, meaning you would move every seven phases. The twist in this game is that the player can give their move to another player, adding another layer of favor based diplomacy. Full press would be allowed, though global chat would be encouraged.

Is this an idea that interests anyone? I won't make a roster yet, I just want to hear what input anyone interested has what you think would make this game more enjoyable.
