I was actually surprised to find that out.

It was when it was narrowed down to an individual sport that some people describe as an art form that I suddenly guessed it was probably a figure skater.

Congratulations!

I was hoping her diplomatic career (she's currently the US ambassador to Belize) would be relevant in one of the questions, but it didn't. For the record I passed on the television question because any well-known athlete in the modern era is arguably famous for "appearing on television" but it's unclear if that really counts.

Incidentally, she does have a notable ex-husband, but Clay Pell is definitely less famous than she is.
