The system submits them when the time runs out. So you don't need to set your orders to "Ready" if you don't want to (and in many games people won't for most phases).

New myself as well. My assumption is that if it is saved but you fail to "ready" before time elapses, it would still put the moves through? I don't really want to test the theory yet though.

Hi,
New to this. Read the FAQ that described Save vs Ready orders but what wasn't clear to me is what happens to Saved orders that aren't set to "Ready" once the time on the phase has run out. Does the system submit them as "Ready" orders or is it as if you missed a turn?
