14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1: Greetings from the Grecian Peninsula. Good luck and good game to all.
14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1: hi everyone - I'd forgotten this was public chat.

@Greece would you like to co-operate by NAP?
14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1: Sounds good to me. Would you like to split Vind and Dal?
14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1: @Egypt would you like to form a non-aggression pact?
14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1: @persia, That sounds excellent. I'll take petra, but wont move any farther north.
14 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: yup a split sounds good - which would you like Dal or Vind?
14 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: arghh!
@Greece - looks like it'll have to wait for next year.

@Carthage - I'm moving to both Sic & Sar.
14 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: that's very greedy
let's split it
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: no.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: we will lock horns in noble battle, it has been decreed by the Gods of Rome.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Egypt Sounds good! I'll take Jerusalem and won't move any further south.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Rome That was very poetic.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: Rome, I had my eye on Dalmatia. Consider Vind yours. Also, best of luck with your horns and noble battle.

And Persia, it seems, as they do in the Jersey Shore, that we have a Situation on our hands.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Rome Hahaha. Well said. :P
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: Did you by chance mean Greece? Anyway, the way I see it, we've basically condemned ourselves to "lock horns in... battle" (Greeks don't fight nobly, see "Troy" for evidence) given our non-aggression agreements. If you see an alternative let me know, but it seems to me that we are at an impasse here. As such, I propose to play "straight up," and to let the best diplomatizer (diplomat is not the right word) win.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Greece Yes, I meant @Greece not @Rome. :P Alternatively, you could break your non-aggression pact with Rome before he breaks it first. ;)
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: Or you could break yours with Egypt.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Greece - consider Vind yours - I am no Trojan who wishes battle against the noble people of Greece, Romans are an honorable people, this gift is given freely and without obligation (apart from friendly camaraderie of course).

@Carthage - I see that you might be a worthy opponent, my diplomatic feint it seems did not draw first blood. My esteemed generals warned me of the danger of having a fleet grounded in Neapoli, alas in Rome sometimes the strongest of rulers must bow down to the wishes of his plebiscite. Do not for one moment, however, consider that Sardinia is Carthaginian!
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Rome- the gift is appreciated as always. I wish you and Senator Cato the best of luck in crushing the perfidious Carthaginians.
15 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1: @Egypt Is it just me, or does it seem like you need a masters in European History in order to talk to anyone in this game. ^.^
