01 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:I’m shocked that not a single one of those landed...
02 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: Moderator: (jmo1121109): Dear members,

This game has been paused until Monday to accommodate a player who will not have internet access during that period. If you have concerns with the pause please email us at webdipmod@gmail.com and we will assess the concern.

Thanks,

02 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Europe]:Somebody really is traveling quite a lot. I'm just glad that they are playing and managing things instead of leaving games like so many previous players did. I do not mind pauses as long as players actually play fair and honestly.
02 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:It's different people, I think.
I needed the pause on Wednesday (emergency pause) as well as the one in mid-July. This one isn't me, however.
06 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:This was me. Sorry guys. I’m back though!
06 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: Moderator: (Aurelin): Unpaused. Game on!
06 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:Hooray! If everyone can ready up, we can get through the phase more quickly.
06 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Libya]:I readied up. Given Argentina didn't move last turn though, it will probably take the whole timer.
06 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:Understood. I don't think I need to send any more press... we should be in good shape
08 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2013: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

11 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2013: Moderator: (Szpoti): Dear Players,
On request of one of the players, this match has been paused till 16 August 8pm BST. Objections to the pause should be sent to the webDiplomacy Moderator Team at webdipmod@gmail.com.
16 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2013: Moderator: (Szpoti): We're back in business, game on!

17 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [Libya]:Le sigh...
17 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [South-Africa]:noo
19 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [Libya]:We can be done this autumn and put in a 4-way draw if we all coordinate moves.

I think we are all deserving of one.
19 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [India]:We can't guarantee it, but likely next year.
19 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [Libya]:I mean it’s not 100% but it’s highly likely if coordinated as I am seeing it. But I’m not bothered by one additional year I suppose.
19 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [Western-Canada]:I think I'm done moving....up to you guys from here.
19 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
19 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:How many times can South Africa be taken over and immediately go into CD? This is absurd.
19 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Near-East]:Indeed. It's too bad, but there is little to be done, sadly.
19 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Europe]:And hence, I've stopped playing games which allow an excused turn. I started another game when I was nearly defeated in this one and that game is on the verge of completion!
20 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:Kudos, folks! After retreat phase and build/destroy, we should be good to draw.
20 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [South-Africa]:What is CD?
20 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [South-Africa]:I’m beat, I know
20 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:Civil Disorder.

But thank you for helping us finish out the game!
21 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Near-East]:Excited to see who's who at the end of it all
21 Aug 19 UTC [Libya]:My draw is in!
21 Aug 19 UTC [Near-East]:Soon we will all profit.
21 Aug 19 UTC [Near-East]:Soon we will all profit.
21 Aug 19 UTC [India]:It was a pleasure all.

Near-East: I know you're not the original player, but thank you for honoring the commitment the 2 of us had made since before the very first move. I know it was tough being patient as you were trapped on 5 SCs for a really long time.

Libya: You had a prolonged battle vs Ghana at the start which was entertaining to watch. Nice job locking down all of Africa!

Western-Canada: Your support into Yakutsk vs Russia was key to my continued expansion. As promised, I did not forget that move - thank you!

Most importantly, thank everyone for your patience through all of the numerous CDs and for always being prompt with your communications.

My only regret is to Russia. He said all of the right things and I really wanted to work with him, but I was forced to decide between working with Europe/Russia or Libya/Near-East and I'd made promises to Near-East first.
21 Aug 19 UTC [Libya]:It was a pleasure India! Likewise to Near East. It was interesting watching that path of expansion. Certainly unique to see NE in South America!!
21 Aug 19 UTC [Europe]:Well played to the guys that won! Cheers to all.

Specific thanks to Near East for allowing me to survive in Great Britain for the longest possible time. I could have only wished for one more ally in addition to Russia. If either India, NE or Libya had allied with me, the game would have been very different. I'll try harder to convince people next time. Ciao!
21 Aug 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:Well played folks. There were several potential game changing moments and I got here late. I still wonder what might have happened if I aligned with Argentina and anyone else not in the Indian Juggernaut.
22 Aug 19 UTC [Libya]:Had you aligned with Argentina (and possibly SA), it certainly would have made for one hell of a battle against NE/India/Myself!
24 Aug 19 UTC [Brazil]:T pose
24 Aug 19 UTC [Brazil]:Oh wow even if me and argentina did fight to the death i would of been crushed
24 Aug 19 UTC [Near-East]:Well, I was the only one to send press. The old Near-East didn't send anything.

Europe - Sorry it had to end this way. A Europe/NE partnership is one I really enjoy... as Europe. You have two land focused empires focusing east, and India was extremely cooperative with me.

Libya - We had a few rocky moments, but we got through them stronger than before. Much love & respect. Makes me want to try the NE/Libya alliance again.

India - I do not understand you. You, a huge empire, decided to keep me, a weakling, alive, and supported me throughout? I wish there were more people like you. I felt very helpless in the middle game, stuck at 5 centers. Thanks for keeping the Near-East dream alive.

WC - Thank you for making the Near East South America dream possible, with your support. I was worried you were going to attack me! Thank you for not doing that.
24 Aug 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:NE: Your thanks to me is really a mirror of your Indian protector. I was either joining Argentina and fighting you, or India and his price was supporting you.
25 Aug 19 UTC [India]:Near-East: You were *so* weak that you weren't any threat to me. Being able to basically fully secure my western flank with a single (or sometimes no) army was invaluable in letting me bring everything I had to my war fronts. If I'd gone for you, I only take down Iraq easily, and then I would presumably would have had to fight against Libya as well. There were always easier nuts to crack. I was always looking for an end-game draw, and I needed allies I could trust for that - I figured I'd earned your trust!

When I make an early alliance with someone, I try really hard to keep it unless I see a way easier path to victory by stabbing them. Unless I ever decided to go for a solo win (which I almost never do anymore), you were probably going to be safe.
27 Aug 19 UTC [Russia]:Hey India congrats on the great game! fun to watch from the outside looking in!
28 Aug 19 UTC [India]:Thanks dude. In an alternate universe Europe, you and me take over the world together :)
29 Aug 19 UTC [Europe]:Hell yeah!!
29 Aug 19 UTC [Near-East]:Hey... even so, you didn't have to use those armies to protect my flank. That meant a lot.

Respect to my Russian & European adversaries, but I'm glad that didn't happen ;)
29 Aug 19 UTC [Russia]:And to you as well Near-East! Another time !!! :P
29 Aug 19 UTC [Libya]:I really felt bad about stabbing Swaglord69420 (love the name, LOL). But an Africa that has been conquered by a Libyan purple is always pleasing to the eye!
