23 Jul 18 UTC [Ghana]:gg boys.
23 Jul 18 UTC [China]:Good game. Long one! Sorry to Russia that I had to pull the pin on you... I had my draw vote up for ages beforehand, but I figured one of the other two wouldn't draw before you were out, so I reluctantly had to do the deed.
23 Jul 18 UTC [China]:Thanks to Ghana for the cooperation against Brazil then Russia. And thanks to Brazil for the cooperation against Ghana... Until you got too big and I had to borrow a few centres from you. :-)
23 Jul 18 UTC [China]:I'm happy to get a draw as China as it is the power I think is the weakest in this variant. I was lucky both India and Pacific Russia didn't have great starts.
23 Jul 18 UTC [Brazil]:That was a good game. A lot of fun. Thanks everyone!

It must be hard creating and balancing these maps though. Look how far I had to spread my forces out to be able to match what Ghana had in just Africa and the south coast of Europe. I felt like I was competing more against him than against China this game. I just kept banging my head against the East Atlantic and not getting through.

There were a few moments where I thought I could get through to Australia or Japan, but I never thought I could get to the Congo. I also made a mistake in moving my fleet to the south coast of Yakutsk instead of the north, or I think I could have taken the whole north coast of Asia.

I'm glad the game ended when it did. Ghana looks like he's about to break through and cause serious damage around Hudson Bay and in the North Atlantic. I was just spread too thin.
24 Jul 18 UTC [Russia]:Well played gents. Would've been nice to snag a part of the draw, but c'est la vie
