08 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1996: It was weird. I did not understand the german broadcast. It made me reconsider all my orders. Then, 90 minues later, the results came, and just THEN i understoodit was related to the next spanish misorders (again and again again). Weird, eh? Germany, the Spanish prophet.
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: GameMaster: mp88 was banned: Repeat multi/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: New Egypt here everyone! Thought you should know.
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Welcome!
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Greetings
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Hi there
13 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: New Spain here, I am open to all offers
15 May 17 UTC Spring, 1998: Some of you may have just received an (arguably) inordinate amount of press from me, after a very quiet week. I had to weather a temporary lapse in my amphetamine prescription last week, and am just now returning to a fully functioning state. Please pardon the walls of text.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Few of you have woke up after my 1996 broadcast (read above), when took over a full first year NMR'ing England.
It is now proved that Italy always had control of Germany (the prophet) and Poland (the fool), and perhaps also of old Spain (the fumble man) and old Egypt (banned as multi).
By the way, G & P never did anything against Italy, being the two power more capable of doing so, as well as Egypt (luckily forced to leave by moderator) and spain (thanks god old spain nmr'ed twice and got to be replaced by someone serious).
Summing up, Italy have never been attacked in this game, all of you just watch him solo. This is disgusting, let's ALL of you wake up in BALLS =0 :) and move against the one true enemy that everyone here has.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: I strongly contest the allegations made by England, as they are wholly without merit. England seeks only to turn all to chaos so that they may secure an ascendant position of their own.

I seek only the survival of a strong Italy into this new millennium, and am open to a draw with any power who has retained potency enough to secure for themselves a position of some lasting strength.

Spain moves against me and that is somehow proof that I have been pulling the strings of a Spanish puppet?

I endeavored from the beginning to aid Germany in their struggle to survive against the aggression of the imperialist English, only moving to preserve the liberty of the German citizens in Munich. I regret only that I could not save the North Germans from their foes.

Poland has from the outset proven to be an unreliable ally with poor proof-reading skills, surely any of you would've done as I have and move to secure Polish resources for the war effort.

Egypt has fought me from the outset and has decided now that it would be better to secure their homeland than continue to fight for far-flung territories well beyond their natural borders.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: England has a point.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Et tu Turk?
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: If anyone has allegations to make, then please by all means, reach out to a mod.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Clarification! I do not mean that Italy is a multi and I apologise if that is how my post came across.

I mean that Italy has successfully managed and stabbed his allies and is now in a position to go for solo.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: In all fairness, another player brought it up before and I ignored him. (You know who you are). You were right.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: So what, everyone should turn their attention to me, and ignore the obvious threat that their other large neighbors are to them?

My position, while strong, is not nearly so strong, as say Turkey's who has no credible threats on any front save me, and an enormous border free from even potential enemies. I am surrounded on all sides by players who are not impotent.

If you are considering your position at the end game, and looking for a draw, consider that to move against me en mass, is almost surely going to benefit no one more than Turkey, who's geographic position makes them far less vulnerable, and therefore far less likely to consider a draw.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Well, I just cast my vote. So anyone playing on will now that I make a commitment to a draw.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: My vote is also cast.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Thank god. I'll happily draw.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: England and Spain, you may wish to agree terms with each other and focus on containing Italy rather than wera each other out.
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: when i wrote "italy had control of" powers, i meant diplomatically, not in any other way, ok?
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Come on Turkey, read the Board, they've already done that!
22 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: Yes. Same here.
23 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: I am happy to draw if everyone else is
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I am too. We just need Turk and Pol.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I do not want to be the nasty one but someone has to say it. It would be very unfair for all of us if Poland to got any points.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I don't think so.
He is one of, perhaps the main basis of italian success.

On another perspective, while playing for italian solo, where does he get anything in return? Is there any cross gaming going on?

It is just a question, if anyone feels hurt by a simple question, then it is because when the shoe fits, one wears it.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Well, it is better to avoid such accusations unless there is hard evidence.

The fact, however, is that Poland never resisted Italy's advance and even at the latest stages he collaborates with Italy in fighting Russia.

It would be grossely unfair to gain anything out of the game.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Well, remember a previous Egypt was banned as multi? It was me who asked moderator to check if there was anything suspiscious in this game.

And he found just that one multi..., and the mod also told me this: "I found some suspicious users with ties elsewhere, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. If you have any suspicions in the future, please let us know.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Exactly. If there are any suspicions, they are to be communicated to the moderators. Making generic remarks in the game press is not constructive.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I have been on this site for nearly a decade, and am definitely not a multi. From my interactions with Poland I get the impression that he is not very experienced.

Once the situation was such that Poland could do virtually nothing to much negatively impact me, I began feeding him my analysis of the board and recommendations on moves that were to his benefit and of no harm to me. I did this to maintain a good relationship, and because having him do as I suggested is of obvious benefit to me.

So while I obviously don't want to be falsely accused, I have literally nothing to fear from a thorough moderator inspection of my account.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: As to the original point raised by Turkey, Poland could be eliminated this turn by Russia, they need only not lose St. Pete, secure Gdansk, and dislodge Lithuania. Russia's got the troops needed already in position.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: The shoe did not fit. It is obvious now why you are such a good diplomat, sir!
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: The same can be said of you, my man. If you hadn't gone and shouted the situation in Global I might've been able to get another year worth of unopposed expansion before everyone woke up to what was happening.
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: My my my.... who said that fluffing does stopped?
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: What? That sentence did not come out the way you intended I think
31 May 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I hate when the fluffing stops
01 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Predictive text strikes again. It is just that I have a inherent aversion to verbal fluffing. Nothing against physical, though.
01 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: I am with Russia on this. :)
03 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: Alright Russia, can we bring this to an end?
04 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: If you rebuild the army in Swe, I can convoy it to Pru myself - you may want your fleet Bal Supports Fleet Lit.
Your Gda hits War to cut, while you do Lat-Bie with supports form Mos and CRP.
04 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: Well, now he knows
04 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: doh! interception! let's try something different? i mean, if we do not draw first :)
05 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: I plan to vote Draw as soon as the builds go through and Poland is recognized to be eliminated by the game.
05 Jun 17 UTC Well fought everyone! Good Game all around.

Just to be clear, if I thought I still had a better than 50% chance of beating all of you and pulling a solo out, I would've. Y'all convinced me that you had me beat.
05 Jun 17 UTC Well damn. I'd say that's due to England. Their strategies were what kept me alive and I honestly was only left alive due to my global position. If I hadn't been Russia I would have definitely been slaughtered
05 Jun 17 UTC Being new and not having the game sense to anticipate my enemies moves often left me at a disadvantage
05 Jun 17 UTC Thank you for not killing me
05 Jun 17 UTC Well, B began a campaign against a "central powers alliance" back in Autumn 1996 (GIP). One year later, it was already obvious to british inteligence analysts that it was not a proper allliance, as only one of them had a diplomatic brain... and all immediate italian neighbours had problems, some of nmrs (E, S), others of becomeing targets (E, F, U). Russia also was an early target for U, P, T.
Russia: the Brits almost joined them when you seemed unwilling/unable to help against G. I changed moves from a stab against your Norway (instead of supporting you into G's Den) to a full attack on Germany (taking both Den and Ham to me) when it was only 5 minute to deadline - as I noted that G was about NMR and thus unable to hold positions. It was decisive as allowed me 2 army builds, without directly attacking R.
05 Jun 17 UTC If I hadn't missed that build phase I might've been able to push on to a win. Hard to say.

Definitely was the current (final) England player who did the most to cause me problems. I wasn't going to be able to keep Turkey placated for much longer, but I think another year was feasible, and that was probably all I would've needed.

@Russia, yea anticipating another player's moves is the absolute key to success.
