02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: urkraine, how about a DMZ on the western black sea? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: France -- DMZ English Channel? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Hey Ukraine, we're both in the two hardest positions of the game, rather than tussling in the center of the board, want to ally and assault Russia? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Germany, I'd like to call a truce with you too, for the exact same reason. We both have no edge space -- which is what wins you Diplomacy games. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: So turkey, what are you giving me for basically removing one of my units from the game? I don't mind making allies but that deal favours you way to much to be considered fair dont you think, i am open to the idea just wondering what if anything i can expect in return |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Removing a Unit from the game? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Poland, i can see us being good friends and working well together in this game but for me to become allies with someone in the first turn i think is to much, i would prefer to see how people play the first turn and judge the board by its actions and orders rather than by words. I want to see who moves against me and how is not trying to force against me, but i will observe all players movements and will focus on players i feel are not going to attack me as well as possible allies who can help ensure a productive game for myself. sorry if this seems like i am brushing you off i know the threat of Russia is real i just want to judge a man by actions and not words |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: England- what about Gibraltar? You know you cannot hold it. I don't want to start a war over it, but eventually you will have to give it up. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: I'm fine with you keeping Morocco, BTW. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Spain: thanks for reaching out. I am moving to the straits of Gibraltar to take Morocco. Please feel free to take Gibraltar. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Fair enough Ukraine. I hope we can come to some type of agreement soon. It does not benefit me to keep an unnecessary defensive force. FYI, I'd think this goes without saying but I am not going to move into Podolia, and while I appreciate that it is your rightful territory, keeping a unit out of it would go along way toward creating a workable truce. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: I think we can work together Poland, no need to eliminate each other this early in the game. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: With regards to keeping pod open i will move an army in there this turn but will promise to move it on after this. I say this in advance so you can be aware of my movements and not be taken by surprise. As for Russia, I would very much appreciate keeping Volga and central Russian plat as a dmz, as you only would use those places if you plan to launch an offensive against myself |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Russia, want to talk about Norway? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: I'm sorry Ukraine, but a move into Podolia would be a very salient threat to me. To what purpose would that move serve? Can I peaceably convince you to take another route? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: I want to try and secure Hungary in the first year, that way makes it 100% but if it will cause an issue for you then i understand and will not move there. I want us to have a positive relationship and don't want you to feel like i am trying to cause you any problems |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: Russia are you there i need to hear what you are planning so you don't surprise anyone. will be checking here and i look forward to hearing your input on the game as a whole. |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: i am here to play guys, if you wish to become an alliance i am more than open to the idea! |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: ok idk wht urkraine meant. but yo egypt, how about an alliance? |
02 Feb 16 UTC | Spring, 1994: turkey im game for one |
