15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: hello there, I wont be participating in this game any more, due to a conflict in my schedule. so think of it as the collapse of a country, and a treasure cove which you can all fight over. Have a good day sirs |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: Good luck on the rest of the game :D |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: Great... i'll be sure to attack a few of your centers. Actually I'll be voting for a cancel, but maybe someone else will join since Russia is doing well. |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: No Spain, no Russia, voting cancel/draw too. |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: I will vote also, although, in my experience, there is always one or two players who refuse, or who go along with it, and then go for the win |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: I think it's fairly balanced still--with Spain gone, that gives England, France, Egypt and Italy an advantage, while with Russia gone that gives Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Turkey an advantage. Perhaps I am mistaken though--can we at least eliminate Russia and Spain and then draw, so that everyone gains some points? Or if, when Spain and Russia are gone, we choose to continue, we can do so? |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: I'd say just Cancel / Draw the game, create a password protected re-match for the 8 who showed up, and find 2 more on the forums, and have a real, more fun game, instead of going into philosophical arguments whether Egypt will get as much benefit from Spain's resign as France... |
15 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: Spain left already. After Russia gone, I agree to call it a Draw. |
18 Jan 14 UTC | Autumn, 1994: Sorry Germany, anon and password don't match. |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: Sorry, I realized I have many other things to do, so I will not be able to continue this game. If I skip this retreat phase, will I CD? Or do I have to miss the fall turn as well? Is there any way to replace me with another player now instead of waiting? |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: GameMaster: UrsaMinor was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: who was UrsaMinor? I think these updates need to tell us the country affected as well when it's Anon |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: In the notice panel it says Russia has gone into CD, someone has taken over Russia, and then someone was banned. And now only Russia is an open slot. My guess is, it means UrsaMinor was just Russia for a very short period, and we haven't really lost anyone... |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: sounds feasible. |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: seeing as how this game has been plagued with problems, anyone wanna cancel? we'll all earn a (negligible) amount since Russia's gone and someone bought in for Russia. |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: Just push Draw then. |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: I mean draw, not cancel. |
30 Jan 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: Spain and Germany, please draw. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: Spain? If you see this, please vote for a draw. |
01 Feb 14 UTC | Spring, 1996: actually it's still a well balanced game, why not continue from here? |
