retreats
In the game anachronism, my fleet can´t retreat from Norway to Norwegian Sea. The error says that I don´t occupy Norwegian Sea - but no one else is, so it´s empty... my other fleet can retreat from Berlin to the Baltic Sea without problems. Strange.

supporting convoys
I saw in a previous post that you can't give support to armies that you convoy. In the official rules you can do this.

Questions
How do you actualy conquer a city in which there is an army. I give the order to one army to move to that territory, and the second one to support move to that one. But if I finalize my orders, it says that my second army will hold.

And hwo/when do cities you own turn neutral (orange)?

which turns can I take?
Games in which you haven't finalized moves should be deliniated somehow on the "My Games" page.

Changing your orders
It is very annoying not to be able to change your orders. For instance I'm playing in the game "Hero", germany just went into civil disorder so I would really like to change what I'm doing based on this. But I can't, the only people that can are those that are slow to get their moves in.
Not to mention that it makes it much harder to cooperate with another power if you can't change your orders.

Victories and Draws
Specifically addressed to the game designer: how, if at all, does the game handle draw victories? If in some game two players don't want to fight to the death at the end, is there an option for them to declare together that they are the victors?

SC capture
Does this allow you to capture SC's after the spring move? The color changes so it makes it seem as if they are captured.

Upcoming Feature list
Is there some list of features that are planned. I already have a big request list in my mind :) And I want to make sure tey are not already on the todo before I post them all here.

One of which is the ability to see what move everyone made. I'm just told my fleet was bounced but I'm not told by who?

assuming command
I just took over england in the game hero. It won't let me submit orders for this turn? I think it is a bug?

Also it would be nice if you could change your orders once you submit them.

more on "Bouncing turns SC neutral"
You explained to Sutech why this problem remains, I just want to say that I think this should be really on top of your to-do list: it´s a bug that can be exploited easily and which seriously threatens the gameplay!
Why? Because it happens very often and changes the game very much! For example, in the game "Anachronism", I had control over Denmark for a long time. Then I moved out of it, retaining control since no one moved in. Next turn, I tried to move in again, Russia did the same, and we bounced - turning Denmark neutral which cost me one built.
In the same game, there are currently three situations (Brest, Serbia and Rumania) where an attacker could simply turn the territory neutral without winning the battle! And if I look at my other games, there are even more situations like that - in fact, it´s a quite common strategy to move out of your centers and defend it by moving in again.

convoy
I still have some trouble with convoys.
While the convoying fleet now seems to behave correctly, the convoyed army can´t choose the correct target province.
I´m also still unsure about support to a convoyed army - should the "from" be the original province or the last province before the target province?

Very big bug in Hero
In the game hero, I suddenly gained control over Armenia, Smyrna and Greece without moving there. I have no idea why that happened.

feature requests:
ok, these are long term ideas/requests, and mr kestasjk i'm not *demanding* these

1. new maps. is the ruleset specific to a map? in other words, to allow this to happen, would rulesets need to be developed for any map desired?

2. admin options : change duration of play (already mentioned), hide player names (already mentioned, but i thought i'd concur)

Is it a bug?
In the game PublicWar, everyone except the defeated nations have made their orders and the next turn still hasn't begun. Is this a bug caused by the game waiting for the two defeated players to make their moves?

Feature-request
It'd be nice to be able to decide how long time it should be, as a minimum, between turns. As it is now, it's 24h and if everybody finalize a new turn is started.

Just wanna voice my support for this feature request. It would make it possible for all those who prefer a quicker game - possibly finishing in one day!
At the same time, those who may not have internet access every day could set the time to a much longer period, avoiding the necessity to play every day.

Heheh, version 0.7 had this feature, with the ability to select how long a turn should be. But there was a bug in the code somewhere so I had to take it down, and also everyone got confused about it and couldn't figure out how to create a game the way they wanted.

You can't have enforced shorter turns because if a game lasts too long people have to go to sleep. You then need a pause button or something, and you have to make sure the majority wants to pause, etc.
Also I'm not sure how many people would join up with a game which has a turn every three days or so. It would take many weeks to finish a game, and if you don't know the people you're playing with I can't see everyone sticking to a game for so long.

I like the system at the moment tbh: if you want a quick game you can meet up with people you know over MSN, and get them to finalize on time. If it's time for bed you can stop finalizing and take up where you left off tomorrow, and the game can go at the pace everyone likes. It's simple and accounts for international and personal games.

Maybe it would be good to have a game admin, which can kick players, and extend the time limit/finalize for other people.

OK, long term suggestion :

make a "week pattern" system, whereby you can set days on which turns are required, thus ruling out moves to be required during a weekend? that way you could have 24h moves weekdays, but avoid weekends.

another feature request: withdrawing from a game
So far, if a player quits the game, his country falls into civil disorder after 3 days. Only then can another player take over.
I believe it would be good to have the opportunity to withdraw from a game so another player could take over directly.
I do not want to encourage anyone from simply quitting the game, but if a player doesn´t do anything for 3 days, the game will change dramatically as not all other players benefit equally from such a situation.

2 moves in 2 games gone a tad wierd.
in 1 game i told it to retreat rather than disband a unit, and the finalised order came through as "disband"

on another, i told it to create an army, and the finalised order said "not to create a unit".

is this an effect of clicking finalise when selecting orders instead of "update" ?

guess it must be actually. grrr.

Bouncing turns SC neutral
In a game at http://how.gnallspik.net/diplomacy the following occured:
Berling was in german hands. A german army moved to Berlin, and a Russian armty moved there as well. When they "bounced" in Berlin, the SC in Berlin changed from German control to neutral. That's not the way it behaves in 'real' dippy, so my questions are: is it like that on purpose, and is there any easy way to make it behave the way it "should"?
