Drama: The West Wing (If you want one of the best-written series EVER with comedy AND drama AND a good dose of how Washington D.C. and politics really work--former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton swear by the accuracy of this show, its famous for just how accurate it can be at times--you MUST see this...

The late, great John Spencer...Stockard Channing...Bradley Whitford as MY favorite character, Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman--watch the show, you'll see why I REALLY connect with this guy--and the man MOST overdue for an Oscar...

Always Sunny in Philadelphia- Danny Devito is a comic god. How he hasn't won an emmy for that role i don't know. The man can be standing on the edge of the camera for a minute looking on as two other characters talk and still make me laugh till tears roll out of my eyes.

OK, so I've seen an episode already of all the shows listed here...

My recommendation - Anything on USA network, but particularly Covert Affairs, Burn Notice, Psych, White Collar, or a marathonof old Monk episodes.

For a show cut short before it's time, see Chaos.

Oh, and Chuck is an absolute must see.

OK, so I'm addicted to spy shows and mysteries. What can I say. I love James Bond (Covert Affairs and Chaos), Sherlock Holmes (Monk, Psych, and White Collar) and the Saint (Burn Notice).

For comedy, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Without a doubt, one of the funniest shows ever, and I say that as a man who has every episode of Arrested Development memorized.

For drama, I have to go with Breaking Bad. Easily the best show on TV right now.

Everyone who hasn't seen it should at least watch a few episodes of QI. It's the best. (I realize British people may be annoyed at me for saying that. I understand that across the pond that show is EVERYWHERE.)

Hogan's Heroes

For a hilariously false portrayal of WWII.

Firefly, one of the best sci-fi shows ever created. Unfortunately fox was too stupid to realize that and cut it a few weeks in, so there are only 14 episodes.
