It is not sport but capitalism which is the problem. Sport is very important in all socialist societies, which is why they're so good at them (is football any more physical than ice hockey, which the Soviets dominated? Or boxing, which the Cubans dominate?).

That very well might have been one of the most boring 49er games I'd ever seen...including the ones from their 1-15 season, that was just a punt-fest!

2-1, tops in the NFC West, where even a loser can make the playoffs, and one last-minute-Romo comeback fromb having started 3-0, I'm almost cautiously maybe sort of kinda perhaps thinking this team might, for the first time in a decade, make the playoffs!

Watched the end of that one--and all the games, THANK YOU, NFL SUNDAY TICKET!--and Matt sTafford's the real deal alright...this could be the end of the playoff drought for the Lions, too...it really could...and it's about damn time, I mean, if you're STILL rooting for the Lions after the last decade and that 0-16 season, you DESERVE something to cheer about, finally!

-The Bills are 3-0! Best part of Sunday was watching them knock off the Patriots and Bellichick lose it on the sidelines...NOBODY CIRCLES THE WAGONS LIKE THE BUFFALO BILLS...

-NICE win by the Raiders! 2-1, made my father happy...McFadden and Michael Bush make a great backfield tandem...and as they've just lost to one AFC East success in the Bills and just won against another, the Jets, they get as a prize the priviledge of facing an angry Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick next week...that oughta be fun!

-The Vikings are 0-3...so that's another season scrubbed...it's not all McNabb's fault, but I think it might be time for him to hang 'em up...

The Vikings are the fifth team ever to give away three consecutive 14+point halftime leads.

Meanwhile, the Bills had back to back stunning come from behind wins.

That game was not McNabb's fault at all. He threw a touchdown pass off a horrible snap. But they'll blame it on McNabb anyway and put in a green QB so they can go 3-13.

For the record, I picked the bills to win that game (and I'm a steelers fan, so it isn't home team bias or anything).
The bills were due. I don't think they'll win the division, but they have a legitimate shot at a wildcard...
