1) What is your name?
S-- ah, John Henry Eden, of course!
2) What is your quest? (ie: your goal in life, either short term or long term)
World domination. Whose isn't?
3) What is your favorite color?
Blue.
4) If any activity increases entropy, should I be worried that I am ultimately responsible for the heat death of the universe every time I sneeze?
Nah. Activity is inevitable, and so if activity brings about universal heat death, then no matter if you sneezed or not the universe would enjoy heat death anyway.
5) What's your biggest pet peeve?
Generally unreliable people/behavior. (You know, there's a REALLY good follow-up to this one... quite a few, actually.)
6) What do you do in your free time?
This and doing things with friends.
7) What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen someone do while they were drunk/stoned?
You know, my friends don't really do weird stuff when drunk -- just stupid funny stuff. There was the one time one of them mistook one of those long pillows for a female and -- no, he didn't do nasty things, he took it out on a date (which in sober terms was him walking around the room and failing to make food for it). Kind of weird, but we were too busy laughing.
8) What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen someone do while they were sober?
Went in a coffee shop once and saw someone loudly reading his blog to himself so everyone could hear him as he wrote. Pretentious douchebag.
9) Which is better: the ability to be honest and face the consequences of your honesty, or the ability to lie consistently?
I don't think there's a determinate answer. I prefer the honest one, as I'm sure most people do, but there's merit to consistent lying capacities.
10) How do I know I'm really here, and not a brain in a vat having hallucinations?
You don't. :D
11) Have you ever been irritated by someone's arrogance to the point that you wanted to slap them around until they sob like a little baby?
Several times in debate.
11b) Ever done it?
Once. Verbally. And he didn't ACTUALLY cry, but he was pretty close. I won that one.
12) If you could change one aspect of your personality, what would it be, how would you change it, and what affect do you hope that would have?
I'd like to appear to be less diplomatic and more playfully insulting - kind of self-explanatory as to how to do that - with the hopes that I find the medium between being perceived a doormat or an arrogant prick. Of course *I* don't think I'm either, but somehow I get thrown in one of those two groups with 90% of people I meet, and it's pretty annoying.
13) Do you have at least one friend that you feel you can share virtually anything with without fear of judgment?
Yep, have a few.
14) If you were trapped on a desert island, what three items would you take with you? (stipulating an adequate supply of food, water, and shelter, and that items such as radios and inflatable boats are against the rules)
Pens, paper, and a bunch of six-packs. Bottles, of course, so when I'm done I can put my message in a bottle.
...On a more serious note, if I could make pens/paper an item that goes together, add a guitar to that.
15) What is your most prized possession?
At the moment my laptop.
100) Where is a good place to hide a body?
Your trunk.
111) Do you find yourself easily amused, compared to other people you know?
Almost TOO easily amused, apparently.
112) How fast can you read a 300 page book, if you found it interesting?
A day. I read about 2 pages/minute if I'm totally focused on that.
125) What’s the most dangerous object you’ve ever thrown at another human being, either with the intent to hit or with the intent to miss?
If with the intent to be caught counts, a knife. Otherwise, a baseball.
126) If you were starving, what would you absolutely refuse to eat?
Can't really answer, having not been in that situation, but I have a feeling insects and excrement would make the list regardless.
148) Hypothetically speaking, if you had made a pet of a nonstandard animal (chicken, trout), would you eat it’s brethren?
I might just have to swear off of ITS brethren.
149) Fight to the death, or leave the wounded?
Depends on injuries. If they're mortally wounded or otherwise unlikely to survive, finish 'em. Generally I think I'd sooner capture them and heal their wounds while extracting information, but that's probably a bit idealistic.
150) What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Vanilla.
151) If I were to steal your computer and search through your hard drive randomly, how much embarrassing shit would I find?
You know, probably not much at all. New computer. :P
189) Are you more likely to get pissed when someone is ripping on you or ripping on one of your friends?
Probably me, but I don't think I've ever seen someone rip on one of my friends without good reason for ripping on them.
209) Have you ever run with scissors and actually hurt yourself in the process?
Nope!
210) Which is neater - the common areas of your home, or your personal space?
Probably the common areas, though I don't really have a personal space at home anymore since I moved out. And my dorm room has no common area.
210b) When's the last time the toilet in your bathroom was cleaned?
Today or yesterday. Love my dorm maintenance people <3
210c) When's the last time you, personally, cleaned it?
Never. Dorm maintenance people <3
211) Can you cook (and I mean more than open-the-can-and-put-it-in-a-pan). Do you tend to cook for yourself, or just do something easy?
Very little, and I tend to do something easy. But I want to learn HOW to cook, for sure.
212) If your income suddenly increased dramatically, would you move out of where you currently live? Would you more somewhere nicer, or just away from the fuckheads you live with now?
My income could dramatically increase and I still couldn't afford anything else. Broke college kid. lol
213) If you own a car, would you rather have an immaculate paint job or a nice interior?
Nice interior. That's the part I actually have to deal with. (This applies to more than cars.)
214) Have you ever thrown something away and accidentally hit someone?
Yes! It was really funny. Right in the nose with a ball of paper. That's what happens when you get in the way of me playing wastebasketball.
215) Are you in a rut? Is each week pretty indistinguishable from the week before?
I've felt like that recently, though not right now...
242) Is there something that you used to do with your free time that you don't do any longer? What is it, and why don't you do it any longer?
I used to play guitar a LOT throughout high school. Nothing really serious, though, because my equipment was [is] bad. I left it at home when I moved into my dorm.
250) Have you ever stumbled across the webpage or online journal of someone you've lost touch with? Did you learn anything you didn't know about them when you did?
Can't say I have yet.
@Tom: I bought it last week and haven't touched it, but that's because I gave it to my little brother as a surprise gift instead. :P
