I was actually thinking it could be used to enhance the FAQ in a more wiki sort of way. That way it would be easy for the community to add content as needed.

True, but since there already is one created, why go through the work? Besides, having two wikis on the same site can be confusing and annoying.

Just update the old one to tell people to go to the other one with the link provided.

That's a possibility, but it's still on the search engines and adds an inconvenience. But I won't be the one getting this started.

Yes, I did know about this. It comes from a period where some of the members here felt that all the work being done was being ripped off by some Dutch geezer who set up a pay-to-play site using the open source code developed by Kestas & Co. There were some attempts to mislead (oh tell me something new about Wiki!) the public and it was felt that the record should be set straight.

I suspect that the current Wiki entries are a bit of a chimera.

I do not remember who volunteered to send articles to Wiki. Perhaps another regular could help?

Well, I was one of the people who was counter-editing Wikipedia "again" playDip at that time flash, if that is your question.
However, I did not start the wikia entry or have anything to do with that.
I am in favour of starting webdiplomacy.wikia.com though, and making it into both an explanation of this [the main site] and the software [webdiplomacy itself].
