I hate to be that guy, but how does one in fact leave a game?
yes yada yada overcommitted yada yada... but it's true, and I've scanned the entire game page (and the site for that matter) and can't find a single mention of how to leave. Thanks in advance.

Whenever I win, I lose
As Austria, I was doing fantastically, I thought. I allied with Italy perfectly, I turned Turkey and Russia against each other, killed Russia, then stabbed Turkey with Italy support on its way. Only to be stabbed by my "natural ally" due to the unlikely 3-way Northern Alliance that formed. v_v

No, the deliberate mass murder of Soviet POW's is part of the Holocaust. 60% of Soviet POW's died. 3.6% of British and United States POW's died. British and United States POW's were not systematically sent to extermination camps.

JECE - I've just read Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago. One of the reasons so many Soviet POWs died is that the USSR didn't support them in Nazi prison camps. POWs were (and are) allowed to receive parcels and letters from home or from NGOs; but the Governnment of the USSR refused to cooperate, so Soviet POWs got no support whatsoever. Mind you, the Nazis weren't choirboys to Slavs either, so ... Other striking fact: the USSR IMPRISONED/EXILED/EXECUTED its POWs as they returned from the War. Nice guys, Stalin & Company!
Isn't communism great?

Being a Soviet infantry was a losing propostion. Human wave attacks against dug in points and tanks (officers when asking for more men ask for x number of pickles). The NKVD with AKs made sure you did attack. Not only if you were captured did you go a camp, but if at the end of the war if you had made unsupervised contact with Western troops.

Al Stewart's song "Roads to Moscow" the story of one such Soviet soldier makes for interesting listening while we are on the subject.

Also the Soviet's hands are just as blooded in the matter of treatment of POWs. Very few of the army captured at Stalingrad ever returned.
All in all, fair treatment of POWs was virtually nonexistent in the war between Germany and Russia.

Zontar: By 1946, 15% of surviving Soviet POW's were sent to the Gulag. These numbers are not included in the Soviet POW's killed by the Germans which I included above. Although you are mentioning a great evil, it is incomparable to the German crimes.

warsprite and The_Master_Warrior: 374,000 or 37% of German POW's died in the Soviet Gulag – yes, the infamous Gulag. 3,500,000 Soviet POW's or 57% of Soviet POW's died in just one estimate. More complete estimates reach 5,000,000 Soviet POW's killed. It is very fair to say that the Germans maltreated Soviet POW's far more than Soviets maltreated German POW's.

Who Pays For This?
I haven't seen any ads and I haven't payed any membership fee so unless money is being stolen from me incredibly sneakily, I need to thank someone for financing my Diplomacy habit. Any ideas who that is?
