If you're sniffling as well as sneezing (particularly while sneezing), it could be flu. More likely you had some dust up your nose or something, I wouldn't be too worried.

The fact you have an air filter has left you ultra-sensitive to any and every allergen. Trying sniffing your cat/dog/iguana - there's your problem!

@ag7433 - having won life's lottery and being born in the UK, I'm fortunate enough to have the benefit of universal health care from cradle to grave which is free at the point of use. We have an online swine flu assessment website that you may like to visit. Obviously the tamiflu that UK citizens would then receive if they are infected can't be mailed abroad, but at least you will have had an assessment.

@troodonte, the point is I am curious about why I am sneezing so much lately. It is not spring during allergy season, and I am in good health. I am just curious what is the source. Low dust in my home etc the same as normal. No new animals.

There isn't always an evident cientific explanation for everything...
dust, animals, spring aren't the only factores that can make someone sneeze...
it takes only a noze hair out of place to make you sneeze some times...

One time I was sneezing habitually, and after minutes of blowing my nose, I managed to pull out a feather from one of those pink dress-up boas. After a couple more minutes of WTF?!?!? I gave up trying to figure out how it happened

No but after much deliberation I came to the conclusion that it was probably from my sisters room. It couldn't have been from a burlesque show bc I didn't start those until many years later.

@Ghost - why would it distress me to learn that Singaporeans have better health care for less money? I would like every country to receive excellent healthcare and to achieve it at a good price.

WHO lists the UK's health system as being 18th out of 190 and we are 41st in the spending charts. I consider that a sucess, could we do better? Sure, but we are doing pretty well as it is.

You could have a Swine/ Avian flu combo which is worrying for you....as long as you dont start bleeding from your eyes when you sneeze i should think you will live.

As for the NHS...once you get past the hairy and angry triage section of A and E, hospitals really do get alot better. Im sure they make A and E shite just to stop people turning up in the first place. Although when i crashed the bike i did get left in the corridor with a broken neck for 2 hours!! Could have been worse i suppose.

in america you sit in the corner for 2 hours for a lot of things...often it doesnt matter if it was important and a somewhat pointless reason.
