Players can appeal a ban after an appropriate duration of time and get to come back under certain conditions. A number of players here have come back under that circumstance. Someone like KB or even wjessop could appeal and we would talk about it with them.

Anyway looking at the arguments in this thread, I propose a solution.

We should have a petition to bring back SYnapse. That way, he can start petitions and passionately advocate for the redemption of sundry other users, so that brainbomb can go back to playing chess, teaching art history, recording hit records about moths, and all that other stuff he does.

We should have a labor camp. When people wish to return they should first have to commit 100+ hours to searching for Multis. Only if they catch more than 20 multis can they return. Upon completion of this trial they then make a forum post with a tally of their multi-catches and an apology. If their post receives 50+ +1s in 24 hours they can return. If not then the process starts over.

It's fairly simple.. agree to abide by the WebDiplomacy site rules and enjoy using WebDiplomacy. Fail to comply with the WebDiplomacy site rules & there are consequences, which include being banned.
