I agree with octavious. further:

1) her friends are all ugly. if she is hot then there is something wrong with her (goes for every girl). those are pretty much the girls that cheat on you (and with your friends in particular).

2) I cheated on an exgirlfriend once with one of her best friends. I still feel bad about it (albeit I don't know whether she ever knew), it's one hope for you to get revenge.

3) I once cheated on my best friend with his girlfriend. Their relationship was rather damaged before and I fell in love with her before I knew she was my mate's gal. While their relationship was well, I never even felt remotely close to even flirt with her. She broke up with him sometime after, but when I told him, he was kinda relieved to get some confirmation about their state of relationship.

4) I've not knowingly been in your position, but if I ever were, I would take it as above.

Breaking up, though, is the right thing to do right now. You'll have more time for diplomacy and visits to your sister in Nagoya. The girls are much prettier in Japan than in Chicago.

Well, congratulations to you. However, I think it's fair to say that in general, high school relationships aren't particularly special. High schoolers are young and immature, and they have a lot of growing up to do. Sure you might get the occasional lasting relationship, but it's more an exception than a rule.

bo_sox is a freshman (I think), so that's essentially an extension of high school, and all the drama and immaturity that comes with it. There isn't much sense in getting hung up over it.

Edinburgh to London bike ride

Simulate f2f games

I think it would be really cool to come up with a way players could talk to each other and have private negotiations during live games. This would go much faster than typing and be a lot more fun. I will post a description of how this could be achieved in the comments.
