Sure, I sound stupid often enough on this forum, but that's the most fun way to go with around here.

Grades just mean you can study and pass a test. They indicate nothing about quick well reasoned thoughts.

I think it was rather clear that oscarjd74 just tried to call me stupid though.

Also, because most of the questions in the tests I get are not so much a matter of reproduction but of using methods learned in the last couple of years to solve problems, I would say it indicates something about quick well reasoned thoughts.

Applying the knowledge learned in a scenario you did not learn requires some well reasoned thoughts, and because you get 50/100/150 minutes depending on the size of the test, the speed of those thoughts matter most certainly.

Also, since my parents had quite the opposite kind of education of the spectrum, my point still stands I'd say: my intellect is not like that of my parents (in context).

Speaking of radiation: I explained to my teacher how an ionizing smoke detector worked because as she explained it I figured out she must have been saying it the wrong way around :)

That or oxygen starvation from all that crying.
