Was Jesus a Vampire?
I was curious, if Jesus was a vampire, like most scholars now assume; was he malkavian, ventrue, brujah, toreador, nosferatu or tremere?

Hey guys
I am redhouse, I used to play and debate here. I might play and debate again. But I have another question: Who knows a lot about C++? I may have some questions that seem trivial to those who know.

How does muting work?
I've never muted someone in a game before. Therefore, I am quite ignorant about how it works. Clearly if player A is muted by player B, B won't receive any messages from A while they're muted. What happens when B unmutes A? Do all the messages A sent to B while B had A muted suddenly appear, or are they lost forever?

New game Classic
Just went to a FTF tourney. Was fun. Want to play some more classic using the standard tourney rules (except of course 1 Day turns instead of 12 minutes).

Set it at 101d to filter for more reliable players. If that's too steep but you like the rest, chime in here, and I will make a new one with lower bet.

BREAKING NEWS:
Donald Trump officially endorses global white patriarchy, quoting "he heard feminists talking about it, and it seemed like a really fun idea."

The our reporters once again reached out for a comment on the potential sexist and racial implications of such a bold statement, Trump responded with an unintelligible string of words having something to do with "fingers are NOT small" and "colored folk"

His wife Ivanka gave this comment:

"help I'm being held ag-"

unfortunately the interview was cut short by a man who could ONLY be described as, "holding a rag soaked in chloroform"

https://www.aclu.org/sites/default/files/field_document/stay_order_-_filed.pdf

"Wherefore, it is hereby ordered that the respondents, their officers, agents, servants, employees, attorneys, and all members and persons acting in concert or participation with them, from the date of this Order, are
Enjoined and Restrained from, in any manner or by any means, removing individuals with refugee applications approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as part of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, holders of valid immigrant and non-immigrant visas, and other individuals from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen legally authorized to enter the United States."

People who have already been authorized to be able to enter the United States legally can't be sent back. The stay is temporary, but the Court will revisit this later.

With regards to say, banning entry from people coming here from communist countries. During Cold War, we didnt even have a policy this idiotic.

By the way, the list of prominent Republicans against this policy grows by the day: Dick Cheney and John McCain are the headliners so far.

brainbomb, my parents moved to the US in the late 1980s. My father was here on a student visa, and my mother was applying for one. Then, the US government gave everyone from China permanent residence because of the Tiananmen Massacre even though my mother was living in Shanghai and didn't even know about the massacre until she arrived in the US, and my father was already living in the US. That's how I know the refugee system is completely broken. Also, neither the Soviet Union nor Communist China were known for sending terrorists to the US disguised as refugees.

McCain is the RINO of RINOs, so I don't care what he thinks any more than I care about what Harry Reid thinks.

Tyran (914 D)

John McCain comes across as reasonable and like someone who puts America before his bank account. As a liberal I'd use him as a paragon of how people should act as a politician. Its just a shame he got captured. I really like the politicians who didnt get caught. Yknow like JFK.

It's typical of you, and less amusing of you Capture Brad to misrepresent Brainbomb & avoid the politically inconvenient facts, the actions of Dick Cheney & John McCain in repudiating Trump's ill conceived follies do not make them "Paragon's of the liberal point of view" & that is a distraction fallacy you employ to divert attention from Trump's latest blunder, a blunder so blindingly obvious that even right wing Conservatives refuse to support it...that's the point illustrated by the actions of Cheney and McCain...it's so amusing to think that chaps who choose to be deliberately obtuse to avoid the politically inconvenient truths might also be so gullible as to think that such convoluted sophistry is thought plausible and not laughable by an intelligent, sceptical reader like Dipbro Brainbomb et al

@"McCain is the RINO of RINOs, so I don't care what he thinks any more than I care about what Harry Reid thinks."

Ok, lets talk about what this is actually saying.

The claim Leon makes is that McCain doesn't have a valid view because he doesn't count as a 'real' republican.

Now the assumption by others that McCain is a paragon of liberal whatever... Is equally wrong, but highlights something interesting. In the bi-partisan view which the media has helped promote and create (and whih the very flawed two-party system of the US forces) the incorrect assumption is that sayin some politician isn't a republican automatically makes him a liberal.

That is a dichotomy, a black and white view, which is not only fundamentally flawed, but not useful in a situation when traditional Republicans are coming out against a Republican President (celebrity and businessman who is less Republican than anything i've ever seen in my life)

First off, Leon is guilty of start this dichotomy by deciding to exlcude some traditional republicans from the modern definition. The 'you're either with trump, or nt a real republican' type of thinking is flawed. And so is the responce.

But it all comes from stupid basic thinking. There is more nuance in politics than being expressed here.

McCain doesn't become a different person be opposing Trump, he doesn't become a liberal hero; but he does become a (possible) leader of a Conservative anti-Trump movement. Not a part of the two current parties... Might need a new name, and see who he can win over.

But him not being a *republican* doesn't make him a *liberal* and doesn't stop what he is saying from holding weight. (Though i don't know the details, so he might be wrong)
