On The Forum

As some of you may know, I have been a strong proponent of a one forum system. After some careful reflection, though, I've decided separate forums are better. I have a proposal that would allow for the separation of topics without the segregation of the community that many fear. I realize this is a sensitive topic, so I would appreciate serious criticism only. I have taken the liberty of making a mock-up of my proposed forum here: http://i.imgur.com/rgcdsO2.png

Just a response to Vashta's point:

"Though this raises the question, if DL was on at day end, would he have followed your switch. The last hour or so was pointless because of him leaving."

If DL had been there, I would have waited until the last minute to switch to Maniac. I'm fairly certain ND switched to Ghug as a result of me switching to Maniac (he'll have to clarify on this) so the outcome would have stayed the same.

For as badly as it seemed like mafia crushed town there (especially with LI as good as saying "I'm a power role so I want to quit"), it really was pretty close just because we hit a bunch of VTs at the start of the game (obviously there is some strategy to that, but still). I don't really have a solution, but I'm not convinced it's a great thing that a huge part of town strategy is to try to preserve the ability to mass roleclaim
