Two of the Group B games had turned phase before they were paused. Some players have submitted moves, others have not. Cancel and remake?

Not sure. Does anyone know if the Mods can back games up a turn?

Mods cannot force the game to go back in time. We can force them forward, but not backward. I am unsure if admins can or cannot, though.

Really though (sorry, I haven't read the whole thread, just was asked to answer the question): why roll back a game? You've seen the moves, so that ruins the (rerun) turn. If it is because EVERYONE spring or build phases, we can force it to spring or build phase the next year, so it'll be the same thing. Of course fall, and any type of retreats missed... well, you are kinda SOL there.

@Santosh: Yes, that'd have to be a cancel/remake, unfortunately. That is the easiest way to do it.

Yes, the idea was tossed around with the mods and we agree, but right now it is all or nothing. Full mod power or not. If you want to get the (open source) webdip code, code the limited mod ability in, then get kestas to agree to it, then I'm all for it!

there are clearly 2 guys who arent playing..... they have had 4 days so far and nothing has happened... this is beyond a joke. we were meant to be playing a 24 hr phase game

@ Cockney: Group C is doing exactly what it should be doing. You're not supposed to be playing these games because they still have to go to the Mods for the country assignments to be worked out.

In other news, Kos has joined Group A. Players in Group A, please vote to pause.

Group A: Pause
Group B: Cancel and remake with 10 day phases.
Group C: Sit tight (feel free to pause the game if you'd like)
Group D: Pause

Group A: Did anyone draw the same country twice?

There is a 97% chance that someone drew the same country twice. Are the mods even able to create games and fix country assignments? I didn't know that was possible

I'm not sure if they can create games for people, but they can check the country assignments and randomize until no one draws the same country twice.

Now that is some work...

Unless we all agree to accept the draw and get on with it!

For all four groups, they would have to run around 400 random draws. That seems like a ton of work. Why don't we just play the games? Country assignments don't really matter (other than drawing russia....) and shit will even out over the course of the tournament, anyway.
