Well, I certainly support a maniac shot. If I were desperado (which I'm not), here's how I'd break down potential targets. (yes, I copied goldfinger's list of targets, I'm such a hack):

redeer - not fair to him, and his death doesn't give enough useful information
DeathLlama8 - I TR him... he knows how to read, so I wouldn't shoot him
goldfinger0303 - I also TR him.
Hellenic Riot - acceptable b/c he fits the lurker profile (see my reads pg 60)
Maniac - acceptable b/c he fits the lurker profile (see my reads pg 60)
ND - great b/c he fits the "littleposter" profile (see my reads pg 60)
Ogion - shrouded in mystery. I'd want to shoot him so I could know his alignment, but his death wouldn't really help set up D3's lynch.
peterlund - bad idea, because he's already an easy lynch tomorrow
teacon7 - terrible idea. he's town, and already at least deserves a close reread before being lynched tomorrow.
Vecna - His stories (and their ability to lure out scum) make me TR him. That's a gut feeling and not science, but hey... 60% of the time, it works every time.

@Desperado - Shooting people that *everyone* scumreads isn't a good idea, because that basically turns the shot into a public-opinion directed lynch. The benefit of having a townsperson take the shot is that his reads aren't colored or voted on.

TL;DR: Desp should shoot HR, Maniac, or ND; because people who are widely scumread are likely to get lynched tomorrow anyway.

I really don't think we should even discuss who the PRs might be until we massclaim.

I'm cool with a Maniac lynch if it comes up. Like I said at EOD, he's probably the only experienced player I truly suspect right now.

For the record i wasn't on EOD2 i got back just after and even if i'd have gotten back earlier i prob wouldn't have voted without full re-read.

Desperado holding his shot isn't a terrible idea either given that we're already up this much as long as he doesn't out himself tomorrow.

The desperado might also think about surrendering himself to totally clear one of the already soft cleared townies but I don't recommend this unless he has absolutely no confidence in his shot otherwise.

Well that makes sense. And if the desp isn't one of the softcleared, he's got a 2/9 chance of hitting scum. Even if he's got strong gut feelings, that's not great odds.

The guy was a stone cold john cena day 1. perhaps ye of little faith should trust that desperado. he seems to be doing quite alright on his own.

He made a great choice the first time around. As long as he tells us who he is shooting, we have a clear if that person dies in the desperado and a clear in the target if the desperado dies, so we can't lose. In that regard, it's probably best to go after a non-clear tonight as opposed to waiting and if the desperado dies, oh well. Hopefully he posts reads along with his shot.

this might be incredibly risky but what if everyone at EON publishes a list of who they think our PR are. it might help to illuminate who we dont want to lynch. even if it risks baiting nk. could be a terrible idea but if we had 4 pr they could claim and we kill peterlund too. pretty much game over.

I would rather just massclaim and work backwards based on who claims. Whoever doesn't claim is either VT or scum too. We can simply clear each other that way but we shouldn't do that until day start.

All right, I'll be around through the EOD. Here's a list of people I'm comfortable lynching today:

Vash - as I said in my read of him, his EOD yesterday was as awful as they get. Today, he has voted for the same player and again seems to be fading in and out of existence. He's scummy. Moreover, were he to flip scum, we have a pretty significant wagon against him D1 and another D2 to analyze and we while don't have tons and tons of posts to sift through, we have some credible information.

Teacon - he has gotten slightly more active as things developed today, which is good. He has been stubborn about being attacked for his vote on HR, which I find odd but potentially townie as well. He has still been scummy on the whole, though. The downside to his lynch is that, as far as I can tell, there's not a whole lot of information to be derived from it regardless of which way he falls, so I would say he is my least preferred of this bunch.

Chaqa - I understand that he's convinced a lot of people that he was framed D1, but I don't surmise that Ika was capable of framing someone. He was as dumb as a player in this game gets. Moreover, Chaqa defended him both early and late, not the other way around. It was a two-way street, which is something you wouldn't expect to see from a town player like Chaqa. As I said earlier in the game, you don't catch Chaqa by his play style but by his trends, and I feel like we've caught him, so I would like to see Chaqa hang (even if for no other reason than because Chaqa said he would volunteer himself were Ika to flip scum - I tend to accept that sort of hedged bet). For now, ##VOTE Chaqa. I want his wagon to be among the leaders.

RHK - others have begun to build the bits and pieces of a case against him. I haven't gotten the ultra-scum vibes that others, particularly brainbomb, have out of him, but I can understand the direction that that crowd is coming from. Like I said before, his voting record is fairly clean, but if neither of Chaqa or Vash end up on the block during crunch time, I would consider this wagon.

People I do not want to lynch:

Peter - look, guys… if he's scum, we'll know it soon enough. If he's not, then he's a very valuable town role. The risk is too high and the reward is too low. If he flips scum, that's great, we got him, but we would have him by day 4-5 regardless. Moreover, I doubt that a mafia PR would fake claim and at this point I think the last mafia PR is probably trying to lay low. Peter is not doing that. Of course, the flip side here is that if he's town, we have a town clear and we also force the mafia to use their NK against him eventually, thereby buying our other PRs an extra night.

Daniel - if Jamie is getting a replacement, we'll have an active voice for him soon enough and we can get some real information flowing once the replacement catches up. Besides, Daniel still hasn't come around to hard claim or retract, so I won't be voting for him.

Goldie - he's playing more under the radar today than he was on D1, which I don't like, but energy levels also drop after D1. The same thing is happening to me. He's a high townread of mine for reasons I laid out on page 43.

There are others I won't lynch such as brainbomb, Prado, or DL, my other top town reads, but none of them have faced any real semblance of a wagon so far today.

I don't really know, which is why I have basically been ignoring it. I think it may have to do with the fact that I didn't switch to the Ikaneko wagon like many people did.

I am wary of a Peter vote though... I read him as town D1 and the general vibe I get from him is still a townie one. The circumstances of his claims do point to him being scum though. I think that jailing or Desperadoing him will give us some very good information no matter what he flips”.

Summary: This post makes me think Teacon and Peterlund might be really town.

My current hunch and analysis combined with HR continuously reminding us of how he was bussed seems strangely ingeniune. It feels like he is very quick to need towncred publicly announced when he isn’t even really participating anyway.

I think perhaps trying to lynch HR is not a bad idea after all. His comments about the logic behind scum fake claiming a RB for Peterlund is strange.

For one thing HR assumes town has a watcher, which is fairly universally agreed on; but in the same post he also talks about how watcher can simply keep an eye on Peterlund. He pushed for the lynch of a possible, albeit horrid PR claim, which strikes me as very much unlike HR.

We are pretty deep into the game and HR has shown up occasionally to simply remind us he is out there, cooking up chicken for people.

@bb ... yeah, Flood was a null. I leaned town on him N1 and hadn't looked at him since that time. I didn't consider him a real target worth pursuing until Vash specifically asked me to look back at him, at which point I believe a few votes were on him an hour-ish before the EOD.
