Incidents of Cheating on the Rise?

Is it just me, or does it seem that (once again) the site is going through a period of increased cheating activity? Personally, I've noticed such, especially in GB games in which communication between powers is strikingly obvious.

Thoughts?

Start game without all players

Is there a way to have a new game start without all the player slots filled? I have had several games canceled because every slot has not been filled.
Over the upcoming vacation, I would like to start a game, possibly a World Diplomacy variant, for many players, but I can not count on filling every country. Any ideas here?

Yeah I need to re-read this while conversation, I'm already like an hour late to head over to my brother's house because of this game though. Interesting to see competing android claims, though I guess with 2/5 adamantly saying they don't want to hit android today, the other 3 have serious motivation to claim it.

We could always split the difference and hit phil, since at this point, we both suspect him as scum, and he hasn't claimed android leaving him the likely mafia, unless Yoyo is, as Phil puts it, a magnificent bastard.

He claims that tvrocks and y2k are mafia because they claimed sk, which means either he's sk or one of us is sk.
Are you sk stupidfighter? I'm not which means that either y2k or tvrocks is sk because phil didn't claim. Which means that phil is definitely mafia and one of them (I think tvrocks) is also mafia so I'm going with what I know

Well, let's think about this. We have:
me - claiming town
yoyo - claiming town
tvrocks - claiming SK
stupidfighter - claiming town
y2k - claiming SK

Why would anyone claim SK?
Mafia would claim SK because they can survive that way, maybe even get cred somehow.
Town wouldn't claim SK because it is confusing.
SK would claim in order not to be lynched.

I think they're mafia for a lot of reasons. For example, I don't think you or stupid are mafia (which makes one of you SK). Therefore, those two are scum. They were awfully eager to jump up on the "please don't kill me" train though, weren't they?

Mute in games

When an opponent stabs you, it's annoying, of course - but it's all part of the game, and I always attempt to keep communications open in case something can be salvaged later on.

When an opponent stabs you, and also immediately mutes you in the game.... what the actual fuck?
