150cc Live Diplomacy Club
Well given that the original thread slid into the depth I figured I'd start a new thread, and try and give a little life back to what I think was a promising idea: Essentially a high class live game club

Words are wasted on things like you.
Darwyn, you assume that if there was a potential threat to the president the Secret Service would move him. You have offered nothing to support this. Maybe at the time protocol called for the president to be placed in a heavily guarded interior room as pictured on the link posted, perhaps the aerial nature of the attacks caused the agents to hold tight until air escort for airforce one could be arranged. Maybe with secret service and police protection the President was seen as most safe at the school. As we can see in the pictures posted, Bush wasnt rushed out of the school as soon as the talk with the school children was done, he was brought into a secure room to lead from there. Later Air force one took a circuitous route back to the capital to avoid any plots against him. If he was "safe" as you continually state like the fucking rainman retard you are, why not a direct flight?
Darwyn (1601 D)

"you assume that if there was a potential threat to the president the Secret Service would move him"

America is under attack. The Presidents whereabouts are known to all. No one could have known the President wasn't a target. These are not assumptions. These are facts.

"You have offered nothing to support this"

I have...you cannot make a target of something you cannot locate. This is elementary.

Even though I'd kind of decided nothing could penetrate this idiocy, I do want to point out that previous to 9/11, people had tried to use planes as weapons to kill the president on a few occasions. A couple of times they totally missed the White House, and at least one time they hit it, but didn't do much damage to it. The World Trade Center was a very large building that was easy to build straight line acceleration towards. You didn't need to maneuver at all to hit it. Also, as a skyscraper, it was very reliant on its support structures to keep it up. This is also why the damage to the Pentagon was relatively minimal in comparison...you could go straight line acceleration to it, but it's not a very tall building, so it's not going to collapse in the same fashion.

Due to the surrounding urban areas, you can't go straight line acceleration to either the Booker school or the White House. There's other buildings around them, and the White House fence has been an obstacle in at least one of those incidents too.

What does this mean? Well, it means that the Secret Service has incidents to examine of planes trying to attack the location of the president and has a plan formulated. In a building like Booker School, they knew that wasn't a problem.

Now, they also have incidents to examine of escorting the president out to his limo. Even the brief space between the building and the limo was enough for Hinckley to shoot Reagan. And in the limo was a place that Oswald or the grassy knoll guy or whoever could shoot Kennedy. One of the most famous political assassinations of all time was in a vehicle driving around, Franz Ferdinand. And then he'd have to board his plane, meaning being in a transportation hub of some sort, which was a good enough place for a guy to kill Garfield.

They know where you are, so they know where your limo and plane are, and if they're attacking you, going there is the best place for you to get yourself shot. Those are the weak points, and so it's not a coincidence that that's where most assassination attempts happen.

So long as your location is known, you can be targeted. It's that simple.
Exactly, and its better to be known where it is near impossible to target, a secure building surrounded by police, secret service, and with air approaches cut off, than to be known in the middle of a street in a convoy with buildings rising above you at all times. Which is why GWB stayed at the school as arrangements were made. Meanwhile in the whitehouse where a bunker is available in the basement, Cheyney was immediately whisked away. Your theory is all wet Darwyn, only you wont admit it. You need to believe it that much
SacredDigits (102 D)

Leaving a location presents a better target than staying in it. It's fact.

Is it easier to kill one person in open air or destroy an entire building? The former. And there is no way to exit without open air exposure. I suppose that if they could have teleported him or something, that would have been great. But that technology doesn't exist.

"and its better to be known where it is near impossible to target"

near impossible becomes impossible when you strip what is known.

Can this thread end now? Darwyn is just blindly repeating himself without properly responding to the many valid criticisms of his argument. It's clear that common sense and reasoned argument mean nothing to this idiot, so I think we just need to let this pointless thread die.

That is not fact. America is under attack...no one could have known this.

"Can this thread end now?"

No.

"Darwyn is just blindly repeating himself without properly responding to the many valid criticisms of his argument:"

I've addressed every single valid criticism thus far.

Shut up, Darwyn. Please. Shut up.
Darwyn (1601 D)

"Shut up, Darwyn. Please. Shut up."

I won't. No. I've been nothing but respectful in this entire argument.
Listen rainman, in order to become "unknown" immediately, he would have had to be "known" (drive through town, drive to the airport, get on air force one, use only the escort he had) and be vulnerable on top of that. It is painfully obvious that the Secret Service kept him in a "known" secure place, rather than moving him through a "known" vulnerable transit. All. Wet.

"I've addressed every single valid criticism thus far. "

You have not answered why the president was more safe being immediately in transit than waiting for better escort and further information. You havnt answered why, if "they" knew he was safe why did "they" take him on a day long trip around the country in Air Force one to avoid detection.
Jamiet99uk (873 D)

Guys, you should just quit arguing with Darwyn. He is, quite simply, deluded and brainwashed by the non-expert conspiracy theorists he reads all the time.

Simply quit responding and the thread will eventually go away when he realizes no one is listening anymore.
Who would know where he's going?

Anyone who cared

Obviously an airport, obviouly that doesnt matter in the immediate vicinity of the school where he has to pass. Obviously he has to find a way to some main road or artery to get out of town. Anybody could know a few options as to where hes going, and they could wait in ambush. The SS didn't know that this wasn't going to happen
Darwyn (1601 D)

"You have not answered why the president was more safe being immediately in transit than waiting for better escort and further information."

This is not my argument. My argument is that the Secret Service knew he was safe right where he was. It is impossible to know this.
Im not done, I think its great to expose how little he knows and how much he needs his conspiracy to be true, its pathetic.
Jamiet99uk (873 D)
02 Aug 11 UTC
"Who would know where he's going?"

The snipers waiting for him to leave the building, perhaps?
Yes the SS knew he was safe right where he was. Because they were surrounding the building, because approaches were cut off from the air. You have cracked it darwyn they knew the school was the safest place for the president from attack. They also had nothing to do with 9/11

the majority suffers because of one player(bad loser)
i play two games where one country doesnt want to stop the pause because they are losing and thats a fact
one of them i know personally and he told me that
so one bad loser ruins the game to the other 6
i think the unpause must be majority like 60 percent or so
