Doh! You said 4-F earlier and it seemed fine.
The player in question has been a problem the entire tournament and is definitely on the list of players not ever allowed to play again.

With every game well underway there's just no possibility of finding willing replacements unless they come here and tell me.

Theres a CD player and a player that missed a move, what am i supposed to do in game? Pretend like it didnt happen. Im sorry about saying its 4F, I corrected that right away but i guess the forum stopped me from "spamming"

Well, it would have been better to PM me, but its a small issue.
I'm sorry for those that have suffered at the hands of absent players.
I've done my best to patch each one.

I think everyone in 4F should pause until we can find a replacement France.

Alright. Now the talking is getting out of control. These comments need to be sent to me privately if they're sent at all.

I've got two other games with similar if not worse problems and I'm trying to find replacements for those as well.

For every reason why the game should be paused and a replacement forced in, there's a reason why it shouldn't be. Give me the day to think about it. It's too late for me to do anything tonight.

The skinny of it is that there are no replacements and its just as wrong to impose a pause. If I find a player willing, he/she can have the password, but I cannot pause the game.

We're in the home stretch of the big leg. I'd like to see the semi-finals start in August.

I would be willing to be a replacement. I am not familiar with the tournament but I can play gunboat and I won't CD and I don't mind taking over a junk country. Send me details if you want me.

We've got a replacement for 3F!
So far we've been able to patch every hole, leaving the tournament as balanced as possible.

4F is over. Finally something better than a fourway for me!

Thanks, Maniac. You did your best as well, sometimes it's almost impossible to win with Turkey or Austria and one knows it ages before hitting the 17th SC.

Very well played, Maniac, uclabb and ulytau. Come on, rdrivera! You always tell people to look at orders in gunboats and didn't see me supporting your hold in Vienna twice! Or you did see but preferred to be Turkey's Janissary?

I see the orders but your support was too little too late (it can be cut by Turkey and at that point he has supported me into Bud, so it´s a 50/50 on what will happen).
But I don´t think it will make a diference, it was pretty clear that Turkey will be taking all the West. I blame most on some bad moves I made and the lack of definition of Italy, that just didn´t move sometimes in the early stages.
If you are Italy and see a clear Jugg, move your sorry ass and help Austria otherwise you are the next to go......

Oh, by the way, Maniac, our Juggernaut was doing very well, but at some point I've noticed that if I had kept working with you you'd win.

Why didn't France go for the solo? It was certainly possible I think.

Thanks Jesus - as it happens I would have been content to draw with you and certainly wouldn't off attacked you because I probably only needed a good draw to progress to next round, but you couldn't of known that.

Any guesses on how much points will be needed to go to the semifinal?
I am having a strange feeling that this last elimination as Austria can cost my spot on the next round....

I'd say 40 are safe, but there'll be probably qualifiers on the 30's.

France could not go solo because it was impossible for him to keep playing. Personal reasons. I apologize to everyone and want to congratulate Russia and Turkey for putting in a great effort at stopping me.
If you've noticed, there was a phase where only half my troops moved. I had the solo locked in before then, and now it was going to be a fight and I just couldn't put the time on the game.

Does anyone know who I replaced and how he did in the first two games?

@urallLesbians: well played. thanks for putting France in awkward position with your presence in the North Sea. That seemed to have caught France by surprise. I guess he supposed you would have tried defend against Russia.

I'm a bit surprised that the game ended when it did. France was pushing so hard for the solo up to that point, that it seemed a bit strange that he gave up on it so quickly, especially when it would have been possible to reduce the size of the draw.

Frankly, I was hoping that the game would end in a 3-way FRT draw. However, I guess France was concerned about facing a strong RT alliance and possibly another player eventually soloing. I was certainly worried about France pushing on for a solo, and I was glad to see Germany make that move into the North Sea.

Am I the only person to have finished all 4 games?
