Both the confirm-everyone-is-here and the scheduled-time-to-become-non-live are great suggestions. I've added them to the todo list.

@ssorenn- first of all its at 55% now. and RR is a bullshit system that takes all of someones penalties throughout time. let me lay it out for you. I have played fewer games than most people who have been on 3 years (yes I have been on 3 years); when i first started playing I had several CDs that came about from me joining games I couldn't finish. being a noob I didn't understand live games and would often forget I signed up after signing up. as a noob I didn't understand how long games lasted in order to decide if I had the IRL time to play a game through to the end. I am sorry but reality and the life around me takes priority over this game; I am sorry you dont have a life outside of here that can get in the way of playing but others do. so please spare me the guilt from a low RR. back to the matter at hand: making mid-game transitions a individuals decision will not help ANYTHING. Do I think it would be a good feature? yes. Do I think it will ahve its uses? yes. ButI do not agree with your proposed implementation. I think all games should come with the option to "extend" the phase length to 24 hours this would do all you are requesting but make it a communal decision that ALL the players are aware of not a individuals decision that only semi-experienced players will know of right away.

@ssorenn- look back now with cooled down eyes for a second. You were proposing mid-game phase extension being a pre-game setting. All i did was suggest that it should be a mid-game decision. You decided at that point to roast me as an individual, (because anyone with basic reading comprehension can see that the unessecary comment "isn't your unit calling you back" was an intentional jab) so I responded. now effectively we have caused a bit of a mess here and maybe should clean it up.

I will apologize for over reacting to you. While I stand by my idea, and my opinion that "veteran" players should put some reigns on their high horses. I do respect your knowledge of the game and the interface.

Know what would be awesome? A "watch" button that gave you a little header at the top of the page for a game (like we have now for save/no-order games we are in currently) when a game you're not in has a phase change.

would it be possible to add like a countdown to a tab for games that are in pre-game? maybe would make it more noticeable to a new player,and wouldn't really inhibit the play of others.

When I make suggestions in a thread that I think might be useful for the site, I'm looking for a response from someone that has authority to make said changes. You don't have that.

Isn't the forum an open marketplace for discussion where CB and others are free to point out the failings of yours and others ideas? Bc site updates IMO are something most people should at least be in favor of.

If a feature is implemented the drives people to leave then I would say that's a bad idea that shouldn't have been implemented and therefore if most players disprove of something it probably wouldn't be implemented.

Back to suggestions, I do very much look forward to never having to refresh live games with instant messaging & changes, and refresh not sending the same message twice. That will probably be my favourite new feature for a very long time.

As someone who doesn't know coding, it's witchcraft how this site treats dialog boxes. You can go to a different site and hit the back button and what you wrote is still there. I don't even know how it would remember what is in a non-submitted text box.

Being able to tag a player, for one's own private display/use, that shows up if not on/on-hover-on their username then on their profile, with a short note. Like "good", "fun", "CD's", etc.

Guys, I've been on this site for a long time and this individual got everyone in the game so mad at him that everyone attacked him until he was gone (He had a fair chance to win the game before making some homophobic comments and then pretending to be a 13 year old). Dude is a douche to the millionth degree and if there was a way to ban him from this site, I imagine it already would have been done.
