"5. Luck (he's easily in the top four in the league if he plays with Brady's or Manning's crew out there)
I'd take Newton or Russell Wilson over Luck any day at this point, especially Newton--great arm, and a running QB...the one thing Luck has over him is playoff experience, but he doesn't have that much that Cam at that.
6. Cam Newton (did you just forget him or are you really dumb enough to leave him out?)
Nope, I had him RIGHT NEXT TO RUSSEL WILSON on my list...I may only be able to count to 6, but apparently, you can't read. :p
7. Rivers
Five years ago I might have agreed, but like Big Ben, Rivers' biggest years are likely behind him...he had a great year this year, but that only barely gets him back into the Top 10 at that in my book--if we wins at Denver this Sunday, though, that can change.
8. Matt Ryan (Joe Flacco is not better than Matt Ryan, nor is Kaepernick, who is a really shitty quarterback without an effective read-option game)
Bahahahaha...Matty's been Iced in the playoffs, 1-4, and that one win was the game Pete Carroll basically botched last year for the Seahawks by screwing up the last-minute timeout. By contrast, Kaep is 3-1. Matt has 9 TDs vs. 7 INTs to Kaep's 5 TDs and 3 INTs, but Kaep also has 362 rushing yards in those games.
And Kaep is way down the list of QBs I'd take over Ryan, I've already said Wilson (who you have next) and Flacco (who, hey, had a good playoff run last year...and I'll take that over 1-4 Matty Ice any day.)
9. Wilson
10. Nick Foles (119.2 QBR over this past season is tough to argue with - second highest in a season in league history going back to the merger)
(One year, in a soft division, and he didn't do well in one playoff loss? Let's see how he does next year before anointing him to the Top 10.)
Honorable mentions - Tony Romo, (If you want to go 8-8 and lose on the last drive of the season every year...like I said, most overrated QB...I wouldn't mention him in this company even in an honorary capacity--and Flacco and Kaepernick deserve that honor far more than Romo for, well, winning in the playoffs and, well, getting to the playoffs...and Dallas fans would be the first to admit a Super Bowl appearance/win catapults those two over Choke-Time Tony.)
Jay Cutler, (As streaky as they come)
Alex Smith (I agree there.)
Joe Flacco and Colin Kaepernick are not good enough to make this list. (See above)
Matthew Stafford and Andy Dalton could be someday. (Stafford maybe, Dalton I have serious doubts about right now.)
