I am 16 and I sway between party lines pretty often. It didn't take long for me to realize that I don't like the ideologies that either is presenting. I am a political mystery, to say the least. It just so happens that this time around I am much more happy with Obama than I would be Romney. Nothing new.

Umm, extreme and invasive medical interventions aren't just done willy nilly. You need patient consent to do them, and failing that consent of a medical proxy. You can't just run around sticking tubes in someone without their consent. In the case of a fetus, the medical proxy is the mother to who's body it is still attached! Your analogy to extreme forms of live saving medical intervention is a false one. We don't require that doctors do them in every case. We trust people to make their own decisions, and when they can't, we trust those closest to them to make those decisions with their best interests in mind. Unless of course those people are fetuses in which case their mothers are clearly capricious murderers who can only think of themselves.
