I definitely agree that Assange and Snowden are doing a huge service, and I am thankful for the sacrifices they are making. It must not have been easy.

It's easier for Assange since he's an Australian national in the Ecuadorian embassy in the U.K. who just publishes info other hackers send him.

Yeah. Snowden gets a bad rap, but all he did was blow the whistle. The information he gave the public is invaluable. Assange is just a man living in exile that publishes info (as TrPrado stated) and he isn't a Russian KGB agent or w/e Clinton says.

They both gave up their lives for the public and that is one of the highest sacrifices you can make. I respect both of them.

Snowden gave up a career. Assange has lived this sort of life associating with hackers since the 80s.

The movie Snowden (where he's played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, my favorite actor coincidentally) actually portrayed him in a fair light, so that was nice.

Assange is avoiding sexual assault charges in Sweden, because the US wants to extradite him. Snowden revealed illegal activity by the US government in the most responcible way he could and is worried about not getting a fair trial...

Biden was threatening physical violence against a political figure. Two totally different things. One is a justified response to a violent individual inside the rally. One is threatening a major party nominee with violence and physical harm. I think Biden should be investigated by the Secret Service. That is very undemocratic and I am personally offended.

@ND - So Trump's call to followers to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights (shoot) Clinton wasn't violent? If you think that type of talk isn't a call for an assassination, it goes back to Thomas Becket getting killed in England after Henry II mentioned, "Who will rid me of this troublesome priest?"
