Outsourced to America
Hey guys, just wanted to share with you a small personal triumph. For years some Americans were worried that their job would be outsourced to China. But a couple of months ago I recently took on my first Chinese client, which means that the Chinese have started outsourcing things to America.

Sugar Daddies
As I'm a gay, I always try to find a best partner for mine. I have tried so many sites those provide arrangements for us. GayArrangement.com is one of these sites. I find this site very helpful for me. So, I want to see all of the best sugar daddies in this site, because you can find me there waiting for you.

Please Keep DC35 Banned
As someone who plays on the school wifi with him I know that he has been making multiple accounts and playing games. I'm sorry that people at my school are retards. He is not my friend and I do not want to play with him. Although I do know people in my school that have been unrightfully banned DC35 is not one of them.

If any mod sees this please understand that my real account, DC35, has been banned. I would extremely appreciate it if it were unbanned but if this cannot be done then so be it... I have not metagamed and only made other accounts when i was banned again.... i don't think that the mod i am in contact with understands this

Please understand mods.

"Most teens these days are sexually active"

I don't think anyone's surprised that a lot of 17 and 18 year olds are sexually active. I just was pretty shocked those sorts of things were happening freshman year.

There is a youth pastor that goes to my church that is married to his HS gf and another of the youth pastors was talking to us and said that it's very unlikely that any of us would be together after HS and the other pastor and his wife came up and said that we shouldn't let that discourage us and that they had been together since they were teens. I see what your saying and I respect it but I also am going to hold onto the hope that we might be one of those couples. And we won't be doing anything stupid. Her Stepdad would kill me if I even got any funny ideas. Lol

Actually looking at the state of my HS I would say most teens 15 or 16 and up are sexually active. The age is getting younger with each passing generation I think

"Also, this will be the first time I'll experience blackout wednesday. I'm looking forward to it (I only recently found out about it myself)"

It's really a lot of fun. There's something so jarring about seeing childhood friends and acquaintances in a bar. Like, I remember when this kid called the teacher "mommy" and now he's ordering IPAs. Also nice to see which girls peaked and which ones are still gorgeous or got hot in college somehow. It's all the good things about a reunion without having to actually go to a reunion.

The best story was that a guy a year or two older than me was there, just out of the Air Force. Apparently he was flying the refueling plane that refueled the French fighters that hit the caravan Gaddafi was in right before he was killed. So how's that for degrees of separation?

Wow, now. I'm barely mid-twenties. That's not a generation. I hope...
Tyran (914 D)

@Invictus
It was a figure of speech lol didn't quite mean it exactly like that. It might not even be generational just maybe an effect of a few years time
Its not getting younger. You always have your fair share of people who start earlier than others. There were a handful of people I knew who had sex before freshman year. That was scandalous. But by junior/senior year it was rather par for the course.

Tyran - don't give up hope. I dated a girl for two years in high school and it was fantastic. She was a year younger than me as well. All you can do is try to keep it going if you want to and leave the choice up to them.

Well she's about as into me as I think a woman can be. She's had a couple guys come after her after she got with me and she shot them down fast so I think we will last. Ik she feels the same way about me as I feel about her. She even went out and spent 50 dollars on me for Christmas already. And she's planning to spend more. I'm just worried about when I graduate and she's two years behind me. She thinks we might end up breaking up when I go off to college
abgemacht (1076 D(G))
14 Nov 13 UTC
@Tyran

If you're two years apart, you should strongly consider breaking up with her *before* you go off to college. Do it on good terms and stay friends, but (most of the time) HS-College relationships end very poorly. You're trying to live your new life and find out who you are and she's still stuck in HS world. She ends up not enjoying HS, you end up not enjoying College, and you ruin what could be a long lasting relationship.

Just my thoughts, as a anonymous internet handle.

Horrible, horrible idea. Don't limit your education prospects for a high school girlfriend. She should play no factor in where you decide to go, no matter how solid you think things are.

Again, I don't know you or your situation, but I agree with Invictus. Statistically, there is a very slim chance of your relationship lasting (sorry : /). If you have career goals that require a degree, you'll really be shooting yourself in the foot with your current plan.
Tyran - I'm not really an authority on it, but trying to keep a HS-College relationship didn't work out with me. Thankfully we're still friends, so that's better than most can hope for. But abge makes some really good points.
Tyran (914 D)

I realize it's a bad idea. I just don't want to leave her. And I could always go to college with her and just wait a year or two after I graduate
And for gods sake don't make a college decision for a gf. If she loves you as you say she does, she'd hate herself for that. Well, I would hope she'd hate herself for that. If not, she's greedy and needy and you best leave her behind.
Tyran (914 D)
14 Nov 13 UTC
I see your points and thank you for the advice. I need to think some things over and talk to her about it. Still I want to find a way that I dont have to leave her
abgemacht (1076 D(G))
14 Nov 13 UTC
If you insist on going to college with her, then at the very least you should work 40-60 hours a week for the 2 years you're waiting. That way, if things go bad, you'll have at least saved up a decent amount of money to pay for your delayed education.
Tyran (914 D)
14 Nov 13 UTC
I'll certainly be working. And I know she will. The minute she is old enough to legally work she is going to get a job and work as much as possible. She is always going on about how much she wants a job
Invictus (240 D)
14 Nov 13 UTC
You're taking an unreasonable risk by delaying college for her. And think about this. You're putting a huge burden on her. Much like how George Costanza had to not break up with a girlfriend after he had her make her male roommate move out, she'll have to not break up with you because you've rearranged your entire life around her, and effectively limited her freedom to do what she may want to do with her life.

I understand how much it seems like you love each other so much and you'll be together forever. I've been there not very long ago at all. I'm even kind of in it now, with a girl in my new city. But at 16 or even 17-18 when college decisions really need to be made, you're not in a position to make those kinds of life-altering decisions in a sound way.

What you should do:
1. Talk to your parents about it. They're better than us.
2. Don't let anything about this girl influence your choice of college. Go to the best school you get into.

Delaying college means you'll never go, going online means you'll drop out. If the two of you are going to last then you going to a regular college won't change that. I'm going to a wedding this summer of a fraternity brother who stayed with his two-year younger high school girlfriend.

"I don't think anyone's surprised that a lot of 17 and 18 year olds are sexually active. I just was pretty shocked those sorts of things were happening freshman year."

Old post, but this is happening in middle school too. I had my first shot at it in seventh grade. Didn't show up in the end and I don't regret that. Like Tyran said, the ages are getting lower for all of these things - you know they curse openly in elementary school now?

@Tyran ... don't base your college choice on her. At the same time, don't take Abge's advice. Breaking up with her because you're leaving is plain stupid. Try first. If it doesn't work, then cut the cord. What have you got to lose? Nothing. Sure, it might not work out, but who's to say unless you try? Thinking it won't work is the thing that'll keep it from working.
Tyran (914 D)
14 Nov 13 UTC
She told me before that she was making me go and she even tried to make me use HER college savings to pay for me tuition.... I see what your saying but I feel kinda safe in the assumption that she is going to be with me for the duration. As for my parents they have been to busy fighting lately to be any good for advice on anything. And I was thinking of going to Seton Hill but it is a rediculously expensive college for my area and I'm thinking I'll go to the community college and maybe when she graduates transfer credits to another college
Invictus (240 D)
14 Nov 13 UTC
Eh, that first week of college is pretty awesome if you don't have to worry about a girlfriend back home you're cheating on.
Invictus (240 D)

... if I can retry that one or something less relevant or with a higher note? The note counts as a fraction of an end-exam, as opposed to just pass the year as usual. People tell me it's a waste of time and such... What do you think?

In vDiplomacy, one of the variants that caught my eye was the Sengoku variant.

Would it be possible to import this into webDiplomacy?
If not, what is the basis for importing new variants, such as, more recently, the Modern Diplomacy variant?
