Do we want to password protect so we can screen applicants and both agree to there entering game.You have alot of multi friends who can just join up.

if you protect the game with a password how will people join the game? i think you want to send that password to your friends. i don't trust you, so i like a public game where everyone can join, not only your friends.

I think all the big contributors to this thread should join a game together. Anonymous of course. And WTA, so we can fail to create a stalemate line. What do you know, I just made such a game!

I find the forums on this site very interesting. Some threads lead to very intelligent conversations where people debate but respectfully disagree.

Others, on the other hand, lead to flaming, hatefull comments and accusing each other of cheating.

As someone new to this site, I must say I haven't quite figured you all out yet... but I suppose I would be interested in playing a game with you all.

And to answer your question Podium: Iceray was referring to Hellalt's comment that claimed he is a great player on this site.

@Sir Collars--I highly recommend playing with them. Don't ask me why, but playing with controversial players is more fun.

WTA? I'll pass, I like the laid back feel of a PPSC instead of a WTA. In a PPSC people are more willing to negotiate and be generally cool players whereas in a WTA people are pricks and focused on the goal of getting the SC's instead of talking and hanging out.

And I take back my passing of the game, it's set to PPSC for the record.

@KaptinKool If to win a 5 minute live game I had to keep a 17-17 stalemate going for several hours while waiting for the other person to make a mistake or leave, I'd rather not win. I play this game for enjoyment, and entering the same orders over and over again for the chance of winning by default rather than skill is, in my view, rather pathetic.

I'm in doubt if Azogar will show.None of you are his minions he can set up to fall and make himself look good.

Iceray I really don't think you have the right to judge my level of play. Have you ever enter the top 150 players? Well, I had (January 2010). Also, let me remind you I m in the Austria vs France Semifinal and soon in the Grand Final after beating TheGhostMaker and soon figlesquidge while you got eliminated in the round of 16, which undoubtedly means that I m a lot more a tactics expert than you.

We have six players in the game, and no Azogar. I'm guessing he's not showing up. Too bad. Would have been hilarious.

As for rules, how about the players just vote for the worst or best player once the game ends?

Or we could do +s and -s every year or something, each player gets one of each. "Wow, England got both France and Germany to support him to Belgium. + for him." Something like that.

I have to say that this is why I look the WebDiplomacy community so much. Any sort of argument eventually ends in friendship and "Hey, let's play a game!" Usually...

We can also set a WTA anon game nopress also for a bet of 5 .Brings out the team spirit in better players who are driven to win and can put past stabs and feuds aside and stop a solo by another.
No CDS if anyone goes CD others shall vote to cancel immediatelly and the the CD player shall have to stay away from game play for a week.Hard to inforce but a penalty we can all check by checking there game log.Also offending player must post in forum saying he is yellow and ran when things got tough.No excuses can be made for CD short of death by said player.Or second coming of jesus and he was raptured.LOL what does that say for us sinners.

Maybe we should ask Azogar what he WOULD be willing to play in.
