People are free to sign up as alternates, first come first served. Even if no alternates make it into the tournament, I can/will coordinate alternate games for an alternate champion, just don't expect it to happen for a month or so. It's looking likely that we can pull in at least 4 alternates giving us a total of 24 (and making a draw even less likely to advance to the second round), though feel free to list 12 alternate spots to see if we can get to 32 (on my phone so I'll let someone else copy/paste/format stuff, or I can do it tonight).

Don't forget to include the bit about *not* looking at *any* potential opponent's game history, including my game history (I plan to play a game here and there, as needed), and if you accidentally violate this "gentlemen's rule" for this casual tournament, simply report yourself to me with a PM, thanks.

We may actually have one or more people advance to the second round that lost their first round game, while one or more that drew their first round game will not advance. Each player that advances to the second round will play whichever great power they did not play in the first round, so we need an equal number of Austrias and Frances to advance. The "semifinals" will then be made up of players based on both their first and second round outcomes combined.

What the *#%?! Sounds like a win condition that all the "survive" advocates will love. Lol ;p
