I saw a dead bird on campus today
It made me pretty uncomfortable sitting on the bench near it. It was a red cardinal
I wonder why it died, and if marxism had something to do with it. I decided to sit inside instead and listen to some modest mouse.

I blame Abraham Lincoln
He screwed over the south's economy without granting them an alternative, devastated their homeland and subjugated them to the union. There's no coincidence that these people's descendants elected Trump today. They have been disenfranchised and alienated and economically subjugate since before 1860. We are paying for the sins of our fathers.

The union should've bought the slaves' freedom the same way Britain did.

We've just elected a man who has groped women and stiffed workers.
Think about what we've done.

Clearly we do not hold and judge Trump to the same standards as we would hold our friends, our families and our co-workers.

@James: if a black guy calls you a cracker, you laugh it off. If you call him the N word, he doesn't. I think that's emblematic of the fact that power structures exacerbate bigotry.

There is a case in VA about it going to the Supreme Court. The School Board didn't want to allow it and they are being sued. I hope to god that the Supreme Court sides with the School Board so our children don't have to deal with this sick stuff anymore.

@Condescension

I have two black friends who are VOTING FOR TRUMP. I've known a lot more through XC and on my old basketball team.

but no, having black friends, is the definition of not being racist

if you are racist: you could not be ACTUAL friends. you could fake it, but more often than not, it's the Liberal SJW bitches who brag about how many black friends they have and how cultured they are, but the only reason they're friends, is to meet social standards they've set
Condescension (10 D)

Yeah, how fucking traumatising it must be to take a shit in a stall next to someone with different genitals.

You conservatives go on and on and on about strength but then you freak the fuck out and wimp out over someone else's genitals. I can't imagine a bigger way to be a pussy than that.

You guys know that the only people who go into the wrong bathroom to be creepy are the ones protesting trans rights, right?

The fact that so many people are so comfortable openly hating on a group of people like that is really really horrifying to me. I fear dearly for every trans person I know.
JamesYanik (548 D)

@Condescension

except I have friends who i have called the N word before, because they don't subscribe to pussy liberal bullshit.

i've had this discussion before, and the Mods locked that thread b/c i was typing it out on the forum.
Condescension (10 D)

@James that's fine, because they're your friends. Would you say it to a random black person on the street?
Yoyoyozo (65 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
If your friend's don't know that you're racist, you can get away with it. Even the Charleston mass shooter had a black friend. So you're just dead wrong.
Condescension (10 D)

What I find hilarious is that Trump has said he's fine with trans people using the bathroom they prefer.

You conservatives are so sensitive. I feel like all of this strongman shit is just overcompensation. You guys are more uppity and easy to offend than the far-left.
JamesYanik (548 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
@Yoyoyozo

I said "you could fake it" - already addressed that one boy

but if you tell ME "you only have black friends so you can't be called racist" i'm a little tempted to kick your ass right there

I mean I didn't know that expressing a different political opinion was bad. I thought we were about tolerance and diversity of political opinions?
JamesYanik (548 D)

i voted for Clinton by the way, and yeah Trump is a racist. Calling his supporters racist, is an unfair generalization.

Nah, Trump's election proves that democracy doesn't function. People like you shouldn't have the vote, fuck the first amendment.
ND (879 D)

OR is it only bad when someone has a viewpoint that doesn't conform to the liberal echo chamber?
JamesYanik (548 D)

"you guys are more uppity and easy to offend than the far-left."

HAHA WAT> look up trigger warnings. SOOOOO easily offended, they proactively take steps to hide from scary things
Durga (3609 D)

It's not a different political opinion. It's the hate and denial of a group of people. You're not about tolerance or diversity, don't even try playing that card.
JamesYanik (548 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
@Condescension

"Nah, Trump's election proves that democracy doesn't function. People like you shouldn't have the vote, fuck the first amendment."

alright, thanks for letting me know what you believe. bye
Okay, so on the trans thing. You do realize it backfires horribly for you. Because there are way more people who have undergone a transition and now look like a woman or man that having the other gender on their birth certificate, than people who will "suddenly decide they feel like a girl now". So you are more likely to have someone who was born a woman who is now a man in the woman's rest room with your policy than with one where people go with the bathroom of the gender that fits them now. Between that and the infringement of rights of trans individuals are more than enough for why that policy is a terrible idea.
Condescension (10 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
You're more offended by trigger warnings than they are of anything.

Trigger warnings have a legitimate usage for veterans with PTSD or people with similar disorders. The vast majority of feminists don't use them to create echo chambers, that's a distortion of their actual views.
Yoyoyozo (65 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
@ND
It's not a political opinion, it's prejudice rhetoric. It'd be strictly political if you weren't talking about a person.

It wasn't too long ago that people's "political view" was "I think that black people being in the same bathroom as me is disgusting"
ND (879 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
Ah, so it is hate and denial when it is a political belief based on traditional, social-conservative, values.

See this is how the left labels anything they don't like as hateful. It's hateful because it doesn't conform to their belief system.

All other belief systems = bad. They refuse to recognize anything beyond their own SJW values as valid. They have convinced a sizable minority of the population of this through propaganda and vilification. They can't win on the merit of the argument. They can only win through vilification.

Well last night you were shown that you CANNOT win through vilification. I hope it is a lesson you learn well.

Your love for Hillary is astounding. You people honestly believe that you're more intelligent than Trump supporters? Your dumb stupid naive childish retarded minds were exposed the moment you fuckers failed the incorruptible, never-took-a-dollar-from-corporations, stood for gay rights when it was unpopular, voted against wars when they were popular Bernie Sanders.
