Do we have an obligation to support everyone in our society? yes... but should it be mandatory, or left to optional charity? perhaps some taxation is necessary, but that's contentious... what about regulations on hospitals? there has to be oversight, but not too much, or else bureaucracy will reign over treatment... but what about individual drugs and there dangerous? make the FDA (SUBPLOT OF ARGUMENT) what about the availability of new treatments, should there be price ceilings? that will cause shortages... but treatment is necessary
