I was trying out nice recliners at lazy boy when I saw the most amazing blunder. The ball hit the receiver in the numbers, bounced off his hands and into the oppositions arms. I just went "WTF?!"

In the Colts/Chiefs game? That ball that T.Y. dropped was at least a foot behind him. Luck took the blame for it after the game. That ball shouldn't have been on that side where if it were dropped, it would go into his hands.

Divisional Round Picks:

(6) Chargers over (1) Broncos: I'm a madman, I know, but I think the Chargers are the darkhorse of the AFC, and they're the hot team right now, winning all those games straight to make the playoffs and overcoming the Bengals after trailing at halftime...add that to the fact the Broncos' defense wasn't great to begin with and now they're minus Von Miller, the fact Peyton's one QB in the regular season and another in the playoffs, and the fact the Chargers HAVE beaten the Broncos this season...I'll play the hunch.

(2) Patriots over (4) Colts: I just can't see Andrew Luck and the Colts getting, ahem, "Lucky" twice in a row, and especially not against Tom Brady in that house of horrors itself, Gillette Stadium, aka, where non-Patriot playoff hopes go to die.

(1) Seahawks over (6) Saints: Much as I wish I could pick the other way...yeah...no--not after the Saints were THAT bad on their Monday Night match-up against the Seahawks in their house. Prove me wrong, New Orleans, but I just hope it doesn't get too ugly...again.

(5) 49ers over (2) Panthers: Equal teams, Kaepernick vs. Cam, the #2 ranked defense of the Panthers vs. the #3 ranked defense of the 49ers, the Panthers have home field advantage but these Niners have more playoff experience and now have momentum after all these big wins in a row--it's a total 50/50 coin-flip, so of course I'm gonna take my guys (even if it'll make my sister sad, she's a Panthers fan...my dad went on a business trip to North Carolina when we were young and brought her back a stuffed animal Sir Purr, and that's how she picked her team at that wee age, lol.) And be honest...you know you want it...49ers/Seahawks, Kaepernick/Wilson and Harbaugh Carroll/Harbaugh in the NFC Championship Game...come on...be honest...YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT! ;)

San Diego over Denver: Only team to defeat Denver at home this year and San Diego is certainly capable of doing it again.

New England over Indianapolis: I keep saying I'm a Patriots fan, now it's time to act the part. Despite all the close games, injuries and last minute deficits, we somehow endes the season without losing any at Gillette, we can continue the streak.

Seattle over New Orleans: Seattle is too good at home and slaughtered Brees a few weeks ago. While Brees may do better this week, he won't improve enough to change the result.

San Francisco over Carolina: the veteran 9ers find away to pull through.

Shit, Brady is in the finals for a record breaking 6th time. Too bad the #1 ranked defense in the league is waiting for him. In a game that will probably be a more literal ice bowl, I'm picking the league's #1 defense and #4 run offense, even ifvit means watching my patriots lose a superbowl for a heartbreaking 3rd time.
