ILN, I have a little story along those lines, actually. Now that my entire high school class is both over 21 and out of undergrad, this weird thing has happened. I think it's pretty common, but I'd only heard about it last year. It's called Blackout Wednesday, a pun on Black Friday. Basically, you go out to local bars in your hometown the night before Thanksgiving and happen to meet up with people from high school who are either doing in town visiting like you or never left. You talk for a bit with people you hadn't even seen on Facebook in years, and then go home. The blackout part is just for the pun, obviously.
Any way, that night last year I found out that there were a lot of, well, pretty wild parties going on in high school that I never knew about. Like the sorts of things that would be a fairly good college weekend, which would be heaven-on-earth in high school. Unfortunately my set was much more straight-laced. Parents dream they have kids like we were, with minor exceptions (and basically all of those senior year). At any rate, 14 year olds, both boys and girls, were cheating on each other at these parties in ways that any adult would recognize as cheating.
The point I'm getting at is that some 14 year olds can get up to some pretty serious stuff that anyone could call cheating, particularly the ones who'd be dating more than one school grade up.
