It's been clear to everyone there would be four main lynch candidates in Day 2: Espi, Maniac, wjessop, and Jeff Kuta.

Interesting to note that all 3 of the others outside of me, Maniac, Espi, and Jeff are on me right now trying to lead the wagon.

It's almost a guarantee that one of these is scum, if not two.

None of them have made a case on me, and are simply using ND's death as an excuse, even though it is clear that ND was playing poorly, from the fact that he did not claim cop until 30 seconds before the phase end.

Espi uses dead ghug's town read of Espi to defend himself, saying how good a player ghug is, but then is happy to ignore ghug's town and then null read of wjessop. Contradictory scum.

@Espi … not really, since I am fairly convinced that you're one of Maniac's partners. There's only one left from there and if I had to gamble, I would put my money on Vecna or Yoyo. But we'll get there when we get there.

For starters, why did you vote Maniac? You are doing such a beautiful job of following every step I take. Frankly, you need to learn how to buddy townies more effectively; you're way too obvious.

@wjessop … I'm not ignoring Espi. I simply realize that at this point, if he dies and subsequently flips scum, the fact that he has buddied me endlessly to the point where he is now simply voting for who I vote for without adding any remote bit of analysis will get me killed too. Ghug worked this angle on me once. I would rather get Maniac, who I am more certain is scum than I am Espi, and go from there rather than risk myself getting mislynched tomorrow while only killing my second-highest scumread.

I don't like your idea of following the consensus. We have 20 hours left, and when you voted for Jeff on the basis of consensus, we had 30+ hours left. It makes no sense to worry about that yet.

@Maniac … you didn't say that guak lurks as mafia, you said he keeps a low profile. Bussing each of his partners and leading the lynch charge on day 1 is not keeping a low profile, nor does it in any way line up with his play this game. The fact that you are trying to take advantage of his reputation in your reads to get an easy lynch, claiming that you're simply meta-reading him, is scummy as fuck, which makes sense because you're scum.

And yes, before you ask, I am going to point out every one of your scumslips until you're dead. I don't know that I can make much more of a clear-cut case than I have; it's only an object of convincing others to join the party. You're right, though, there's so many lurkers that it seems impossible. Hell, I worked the entire day, from 8-8, on a Saturday and only four pages filled up while I was gone.

* This game has a small setup with only one town PR.
* VT 'meme false breadcrumbed cop with the intent of fake-claiming if he was on the block early in the game. The odds of the lynch switching to scum vs real cop in EOD1 chaos would be 3x greater (1x cop vs 3x scum).
* ND screwed up and got killed.
* I waited for N1 kill.
* I revealed this plan of 'meme's early in D2 hoping that some people would see the light and consider me soft-cleared as town.

I fully understand that this could also be perceived as a scum move, but really, scum just don't take risks like this. It's not worth it to call this much attention to oneself.

In fact, I'm not really getting much attention out of this except from wjessop. He has gone bonkers over this, just as he did on his charge against ND during D1. I think that's the scummiest play of all right now. It's not OMGUS, even though I said that earlier. He is trying to work the town into a lather against the one player left that should NOT be on the block!

Why? Because if I truly am soft-cleared (and I truly am) then the mafia *should* kill me N2. Scum cannot allow cleared players to live and direct the action. I have studiously tried to *avoid* directing action this game.

There hasn't been much going on really other than Espi and wjessop fighting. I find it hard to believe that two scum would spend that much time against each other in the game trying to make it seem like they were not buddies.

At any rate, despite my initial desire to have the town choose between Espi and bo_sox48, I think I am going to stay on wjessop the rest of the day. I don't really trust ND's "final words" but wjessop is dangerous and wrong...again.
