From captainmeme himself, page 9 of last game. In a game with no doc, this goes double. There's no conceivable reason why he would set for a false claim, except if he were scum.

ND's lynch gave us more info because his interactions with wjessop, and a few others. If he flipped scum, that would've cleared wjessop. As scum, ND didn't bus. Of course I still would've scum read you to keep safe from NK, bus is nice to have a little private note of people that are cleared in my book. Now that we know he was town, and cop no less, you need to realize that your constant nagging and rushed cases aren't helpful.

As town, we need to look at wjessop and DL. wjessop's tunneling set a lot of b the framework for him to become ca lynch option (though he does this as town also, we cannot take any chances,) DL's report of the fake claimers is helpful, but we know his history of doing very townie things as scum. His last minute vote on ND for litterally the same reason as I is alarming, especially considering he lurked EOD.

Considering that he's cop, we should lynch Jeff tomorrow, no questions. I've never had a solid read this early in the game, but I am positive on him being scum. Yeah, he already pointed this out. It's fairly clear that meme wouldn't do this as a VT, unless he was acting against his own standard practice, which is unlikely but possible.

Cop died Day 1, it makes a whole lot of sense to kill the fake-claiming Cop in Day 2.

Vote here makes most sense on Jeff, it's a bit of a no brainer.

Now wjessop, my question for you is thusly. What do we do if Jeff turns out to be Town?

@Espi: This question can be applied to anyone we lynch. We do what town always does, look at the voting patterns, and the links between Jeff and others.

If we hammered now, and Jeff flipped town, we'd have to look the other reads and top cases. That work would fall back on the current top candidates: Maniac, Espi, wjessop, with potentially Yoyo as well.

Folks, everyone knows how dire the situation is for the town. I know I am claiming this, but I am soft-cleared because of the 'meme false-cop breadcrumbs. The town odds are much better if you believe me this turn and lynch ANYONE else right now. As a soft-clear, I am almost certainly dead N2 because the scum can't have anyone cleared at all.

@Jeff I can't convince wjessop, personally I think it is Maniac, but hell I could be wrong. I don't know if I should believe you or not right now, but atleast you are trying so I can't fault you for that.

Maniac sees the situation for what it is--as I described it above.

If he is town, then he just did the town a favor by telling them to believe me.
If he is scum, then he just did himself a favor by telling the town to believe me.

Either way, I am almost certainly dead N2, so let's go town and find a better lynch target. This may seem like buddying, but I do think Maniac's observation buys him one day (D2) of freedom from lynching.

I am still staying with bo_sox48, Espi, and wjessop as my votes today. I will join any wagon on any of those three.

Can you tell me if you think I am right that wjessop is town just acting like ND, left alive to drive confusion in the game just as I was likely left alive to be a target, or do you think he is Scum, going after easy lynches and trying to get town-cred, or atleast hide his buddies?

This is a little late but @Maniac no I did neither kung fu or karate. I had a friend that gave me Tae kwon do lessones but that was over 10 years ago.
