im changing my thinking on CaptJeff somewhat. Jeff's narrative that Capt was setting himself up to take a NK bullet could be authentic. I think I fell into the trap Capt fell into last time and thought that because this 'could' be false it had to be false. I'm going to take Jeff at his word on this one and completely reverse my read on him.

Espi is obvious town or great Mafia player. I haven't played with him much, but don't regard him as great Mafia so I'm sticking with obv town. No one could write like he does at pace he does without making scum-slip after scum-slip. His stream of conscience stuff couldn't be faked.

Mafia Wjessop always wants to go for MVP and I think his plan here is to fill up our thread with arguing in circles with espi and he really doesn't care if this is getting to Espi in real life.

I can't get much of a read on Yoyo and rest are just absent.

Everytime you post i feel conflicted. I dont know if you are scum and trying to get us to believe you, or if you are town and being genuine. I might be reverse tunneling with wjessop, buy he seems to be too scummy to be scum. Your point about him wanting to win hits me though. I dont see how town wjessop cant see what he is doing. He misses obvious stuff and if he isnt scum, he is helping scum with his actions.

That said i cant join in on a wjessop vote. I am not thinking clearly around him. Hell, we have spent half of a day to a day total arguing, and 10 to 15 of these pages, if not more, are us going back and forth. So Maniac is happy to believe that I am a heartless, Machiavellian player in this game, wrecking lives and driving forward to MVP, but Espi couldn't possibly fake his posts -- even when Espi himself has now already been pushed in to admitting that he has contrived his character in this game so far. I don't expect much from guak, he's extremely disappointing, and frankly I don't think he should be allowed to play future games, but the 4 others *should* and do have the capacity to interact with us.

I think the safest *consensus* vote is Jeff at this point, though.

The fact that Yoyo is participating in lots of other threads and actively avoiding this thread is disappointing and scum-indicative lurking for me.

At the very least, it looks like 3-4 people might just be modkilled in just over 24 hours time if they don't bother to participate.

Espi vote analysis- Page 17 at 11 am I voted for Maniac after posting a reads case, ghug and bo are the only ones currently on that wagon. At 1pm on page 19 I vote for wjessop for a few minutes when I was really annoyed at him, ND is the only other person voting for wjessop at this time. I said throughout this time that I has a list of 6 people I would possible vote for based on my page 11 quote "Blood, vecna, Jeff, Maniac, guak, ghug and myself are the people I feel are the weak links in this, the former based on newness, the latter aside from myself on lurking. This is also the list of people I am willing to vote for, big as it might be." I also said on page 17 that Jeff was the person I intended to vote for if Maniac was not a good target. On page 22 DL ties up the vote between me and Maniac with 4-4 only half an hour prior to EOD. Page 23 I vote for Jeff trying to start a wagon on him with DL. I keep this vote on Jeff for about half an hour, meanwhile ghug and wjessop are trying very hard to convince me to vote for ND and I am wavering. Same page I vote for ND with only ghug and wjessop currently voting for him.

How does that work for you?

I don't love how Wjessop looked at Capt/Jeff's fakesoft which I noted was too obvious, said, "oh, he's confirmed scum, let's hammer him", and is now on Espi.

I also really dislike Maniac's reaction to the d1 lynch. It seems kind of dispassionate and removed, like "haha look at the silly townies they killed their cop", as he says "And the victim Blamers get in early and y2k makes me the only night kill - cheers y2k, even when you're GM you tunnel on me lol"

I'm fine with people arranging their scumreads from scummiest to towniest, but giving percentages is silly. If you want to do relative likelihood, use # of arrows to denote that. I don't see the point in assigning arbitrary percentages to everyone.

I agree with the gist of this; that being said, what do you think of Espi's "rest of the scum" pg3 slip?
