@ Draugnar. I'll bite. We have played two games together one was a draw and the other I resigned in.But if i remember correctly I knocked you back in place and you where just happy to go into your shell and settle for a draw again.And once Azogar was eliminated you had your draw as others just wanted him out.

I went out in autum 06.Game ended in 10.Only Austria moved on me immediately when he saw this.And the rest later.No one took over for me and I still had supply centers till last year when Azogar went out.

My computer was down for a little while.And then work schedule changed with quiting of two coworkers so I was pulling 12- 16 hour days for three weeks straight and had little time for diplomacy.And was getting a little burnt out from it anyways so i took some time off.

You should have found a sitter. I've CD'd once (and only one game) in an emergency when my dad got hurt and I had to go out to his farm and help him and my mom out. The mods cleared my record for me though. Beyond that, I've managed to find sitters or at least wrap up my active games when I've hit burn out a few times.

By way how is your new regular every day job working out instead of consulting?

Only had one day (Friday) but it went well. Friday night went even better when $300 became $1100 (yes, eleven hundred) for an $800 profit at poker that night.

If a 7th is needed for the second game, I'm in (101). But I'll request at least 36 hour turns and low points (this is for GR, not points, right?).

I'm sort of waiting on word from Ebay, before I create game 2 and send out passwords. I will send them out to the highest rated players who expressed interest until it fills.

@fortknox: I think we agreed on a 5 bet, and 36hrs is my preferred phase time as well so I don't expect it to be a problem.

@Ebay: Crazyter expressed interest earlier in the thread, and I don't want that to get lost. With a Ghost Ranking of 17, I think he/she has earned a spot in the first game and should possibly bump out the 7th person down to game #2, but thats your call.

Crazyter is a she. She is one of the few ladies on the site.

Ok, I never have a problem with a player asking for s short pause. Everyone needs it from time to time. Real life is just like that. So Crazyter is welcomed. If any player has a problem with honoring a pause request then just tell me and I'll kindly ask you not to join my game as I think it's bad sportsmanship. I'm sure we won't have that problem with the players we have here though.

Thanks for the interest in this game and I'm really excited about it. Game one has a difference only 5 between the final 4 players. This should be the most evenly matched game I've ever played. Good luck to all and to the players of game 2. I'll keep up o date with that game as well.
