Not as epic as my previous game which ended up drawn in Autumn 1919...

I can't say it's epic. I think certain people behave stupidly. But I'm going to shout at them after the game is over...

Not many players seeing the big picture, just living turn by turn.

I accept living turn by turn logic in gunboats. In fact that's what I like in gunboats. But ultimately you have to see the big picture too or the game ends and you gain nothing.

and that's why you will get nothing from this game.

Turkey: You scared me so much I was about to try to give tunis to England so that he wins and I at least get a survival.

Great game all. I was thinking about taking out Russia but thought that taking Tunis out would have probably been too risky. I had to take Naples out at the end as the army wouldn't have held the stalemate line - needed a fleet in there.

with stalemate line forming around germany decided to kill france and cut down on number of people in draw.too long to try and break it.see you around..

Ironically, podium, if you had decided to sit off Tunis but on the stalemate line I would have taken out both Italy and Russia and we would have had a two way...

Did any of his posts cause anyone to change strategy/tactics towards who he was pretending to be.

I saw that I had no chance with russia or italy.it gets tricky when it comes down to two.do you keep trying to break stalemate and hope he misses an order somewhere.Or settle for draw and the other may not want to draw anymore.sometimes you have to include others when everyone is set to draw.to avoid hours of same orders.

Ironically he asked Italy (me) to attack Austria in turn 1.
I had already decided to start that way cause I'm sick and tired of lepantos.

If podium had kept his units away from it then you could have gone for a 2 way draw.
