CD decision too aggressive?
I have seen two players CD in games today, where it didn't look correct. In both cases, there last two moves were ones which they didn't have any choice (forced disband in retreat or build phase). Perhaps it is just coincidence, but has anyone else noticed this?

Please delete my account
Then delete this thread. You owe us an option to delete our accounts. It should be next on your TODO list.
Thanks.
I want to quit because I found play by email simpler and more satisfying. This whole betting thing really drives me round the bend(especially, that is) and I'd like to have my account removed for that and several other reason.
On a happier note, good work on the webpage!

I'm a multi, I admite it.
Btw I'm not the only one to call USA uncivilized.
Whole fucking Europe laughs at you and there is nothing you can do to change not today, not in a million years.
You are just a country with no history at all and a nation of criminals and immigrants.
Sorry but you are just one powerful and huge piece of crap.
ottovanbis (150 DX)
22 Nov 09 UTC
"no history" that's not a good burn, completely bullshit
nation of criminals- i sorta agree with you there in terms of capitalism
immigrants- what the hell is wrong with immigrants, they came from EUROPE DBAG!!!
I like how you speak for the whole of Europe. =)

And otto, I have seen it. I have some conspiracy theorists for friends. But, like Michael Moore's "documentaries" (a laughable term for his political agenda films), it twists information and fabricates theories based on flimsy strawman arguments. No, I was not influenced by it.

ottovanbis (150 DX)

Kennedy was shot from three different angles of fire by the way, watch the Zapruder film please, and you don't know what happens at area 51. i think moore is too leftist for most people, but he brings up some good points. i think dismissing liberal ideology is extremely immature on your part
Draugnar (0 DX)
22 Nov 09 UTC
I said it didn't influence me. But I should have said it didn't influence my opinion. I can feel sympathy and be upset by something, but still see that when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains must be the truth and that all things being equal, the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

For the record, European law (including Greece) doesn't actually require deletion, merely something called "de-identification". This means that any info collected such as name/photos/addresses etc must be removed on request and cannot be historically stored. In other words, removing ones email address and name must be allowed (as it indeed is on this site) but deletion is not. In addition historical records (e.g. old information about names and emails) must not be retained once the user has changed them. This means deletion from backups of databases as well, providing retention of that information is not critical to the recovery of such backups

In the US the law is much more vague and has generally relied on individual judgments based on merit rather than an absolute statute. So while hellalt may be right that it would be simpler and easier to allow a delete function the owner of this site is not under any legal obligation to do so.

Mind you if I was the target of these jingoistic rants of his I'd be unlikely to make much effort to expend my energy doing so. Perhaps a more constructive approach would lead to a positive outcome for him. There's the diplomat in me surfacing.....

@otto - I can't speak for area 51, but I can for hangar 18 at Wright Pat. I was "on loan" to the Air Force when I was in the Corps for six months and did security detail there. And no, I can't confirm or deny anything I did or did not see in the hangar.

If YOU ruled a Nation... what would YOUR laws be?
Personally, I want to rule Freedonia, cigar and all, and taking Mr. Firefly's advice, my first law: If any man should come between a husband and his bride, we find which one she prefers by letting her decide, if she prefers the other one the husband stepsoutside, we stand him up against the wall and POP! goes the weasel!" (Have FUN with this, folks, no warfare...)
