@meme: when I read Caqa's "Concerned Citizen" I thought he was trying to call attention to having received the VT PM. That could be because he's Mafia, or a PR trying to pass as VT. I suppose he could really be a VT, but I thought it was odd, and others thinking the same validates my impression. I didn't know non-VTs received the VT PM as well (which "proves" I'm a VT, of course). I'm confused about ghug's reaction to all this though, since he can't not have known that everyone had access to the VT PM, so even if a non-VT wanted to make a point of being a VT by quoting something from the VT PM all they had to do was go to the first page of the thread. Someone like ghug who has played umpteen times has to be aware of this.

i'm really not sure on chaqa, his lurk was bad and his moscowfleet/brainbomb votes definitely could be lazy scummy votes. i think i might prefer a chaqa lynch over a moscowfleet lynch. but xorxes is still my top choice.

@y2k, I'm catching up. I work during the day so don't expect me to post a lot before around this time on weekdays, since I can only read sporadically on my phone. I'm probably voting for someone else, but I still think you were scummy at the beginning.

Briefly, my reasoning behind each:

Brainbomb - He labelled me as certain town in one of his reads posts, after I had posted once with fairly little content. I'm thinking this may be attempting to buddy.

MoscowFleet - He played the noob card *really* hard on page 18. He mentioned 'for newbies like me' twice in one post, making sure absolutely everyone was aware of his status as a newbie. This isn't necessarily scummy, but I've found in the past that players who have done this are scum trying to throw people off their tracks by dismissing every mistake they make as noobishness.

Hellenic Riot - I don't know, his playstyle seems reasonable but his first paragraph of his response to bb on page 15 really rubs me the wrong way. He went on the offensive, becoming somewhat angry about it, which is really unlike HR from my experience in these games. Becoming angry over things to get other people to back down on them is something I do as mafia and that I've seen numerous other scum also use.

Jamiet - I'm not certain if my suspicion of him is coming from the fact that I am more aware of votes for me, but as far as I've seen he hasn't responded to my question as to why he felt that WD's post was convincing enough to make him switch from Yoyo (someone he'd seemed to be heavily scumreading at that time) to me (someone he had previously defended).

I'll start doing vote counts with around a half hour left in the day, I'm on my phone right now. Feel free to compile one if you need one before then.

Maybe add Vashta to that list. His initial post felt like it was intended to look as helpful as possible without giving any information on him himself whatsoever.

I'm willing to vote for krellin, brainbomb, Chaqa and ghug as well as for y2k who is where my vote is parked right now. Any of the Chaqa voters wants to persuade me? I don't have a strong reason, just the "Concerned Citizen" and a general gut read.

His responding to my calling out MF by quickly confirming my suspicion and then voting for him with no other explanation only confirmed my view.

I'm interested that despite numerous people (in particular krellin) calling out Warden, I am the one and only vote on him and have remained so throughout. The total inability to get any traction there certainly gives the impression that I might be onto something.

I see you believe that past votes are the best way of reading someone, yes. Unfortunately, unless you actually start making votes and giving reasons, none of us are going to be able to read YOU by your own logic. So perhaps you should... change that?

What is this nonsense about tying and consolidating with hours to go as if the lynch is already narrowed down to 2-3 people when no wagon has ever had more than 4 votes? Past games have repeatedly shown that late wagons can rack up 7 or 8 votes minimum in the last hour or so. This stinks of trying to force the lynch onto 2-3 candidates and makes me unwilling to vote any of those candidates as a result.

If nobody else will vote Warden then I will change my vote to xorxes.

Krellin is also someone I might be prepared to move onto. I can never make head or tails of him at any point in any game.

hey, sorry for my absence, but it was a long day at work. Luckily I am part-time, but Tuesday is a full day and I always have a meeting on Tuesday + some parent calls.

If Warden is an implausible lynch with 15 minutes to go, then I will join you on xorxes. This trying to nail down the lynch so early with such a low plurality and make it between you/MoscowFleet/Chaqa/Capt is really dodgy. There's 22 players - easily enough for a wagon to form on anybody. Seems to me like scum might be excited that none of them or only 1 of them is up for lynching in that group and are trying to lock it into those as a result - particularly if another scum is a potential lynch outside that group; which both Warden and xorxes could fulfill.

I have to leave though. I have a date I'm taking to the Sabres game tonight and have to pick her up :)

Of the people who currently have votes, I feel most comfortable with xorxes. I've already expressed that I don't want to vote y2k and Moscow. Captain I feel like deserves a pass for the day, but if he lurks more tomorrow, my votes are going up on him. I don't have any strong feelings on Chaqa, teacon or WD, so wouldn't mind if they died.

But I'm going to head out with my vote on xorxes. Later everyone.
