i think captainmeme and chaqa have done enough to make up for early lurks, i don't support a D1 lynch on either.

I don't fully agree with this -- don't move your vote onto someone else "just because you are alone". That being said -- if you truly have no feelings towards anyone except the single person you are voting for, you are either incompetent, not paying attention or lying.

If you are hunting scum, then you should be consolidating the vote so that those overly excitable vote-trackers can lump you into a cause. Or, I mean, so that the mafia can have a larger group to hide in. Or...uh....I mean...so that EVERYBODY is shifting their votes around at the last minute so that it is easier for mafia to manipulate the vote and hide their manipulation in the chaos. Or....uh....I mean....


If you don't have a good reason to move your vote, don't.

If you move your vote you had better damned well explain WHY you are moving it so we can call you suspicious, or not, later on.

OB - You misunderstood my point. I know everyone *can* read the VT pm, but people just skim through things and since the VT pm is always the same nobody reads it. I do not think other people would think much/remember about the 'Concerned Citizen' part of the PM.

Receiving the VT pm though, the 'Concerned Citizen' part is very obvious, because that's the place you immediately look to find your role.

Captain, it's the first thing in the role descriptions post after "Vanilla". Give me a break. Even the skimmiest of skimmers would see it.

In the ensuing night phase I want everyine to reread vashs comments on krellin as well as ghugs. Also reference times where vash-ghug interact at all.

I think Y2k is town. The whole posting regularly and annoying people is much more like town y2k than scum y2k - scum y2k tends to lurk significantly.

Brainbomb -- please explain. I dont' think I have even referenced ghug, and my only interaction with Vash was to call his rules for play idiotic -- and I think YOU would agree with my assessment of his demented anti-town rules.

ghug and vash both just sorta implied you were town and none of the 3 of you ever seem to even talk to each other. like your all ghosts to each other.

If you are mafia lurker, you are dead to me. if you are a town PR that's been quiet and have come out for fear of the PR hunters going after lurkers, then you have no special knowledge to clear y2k.

In essence, you are a neutral void in this game....so you suddenly "clearing" y2k? Yeah....holds no water. it stinks. in fact, it worse than stinks and for me, at least, reinforces the vote.

Krellin - I played with Y2k in the two games he was mafia. In the first one we were mafia together. He lurked like hell in both of them.

His pressing people and voting regularly is something that he's only done as town.

Also, tell me if this hunch is wrong, but what are the chances that a significant part of last game's mafia team is still mafia? I'm looking at Yoyo, xorxes and WD in particular. With maybe the addition of DemonRHK.

@krellin - exactly. They've gone into super lurk mode. And their votes have been stuck on y2k for a very long time.

I don't think WD is scum again. His pressure on me seems more townie than anything, because he was in the last game they tried to policy lynch me so knows that any kind of lurker-lynch effort on me is not an easy one because I will start upping my game as town, and if he were mafia then that's not something he would want to do.

In general, I'd agree with the assertion that going for lurkers immediately, especially pushing on a specific one early, is scummy because it's an easy mislynch, but Warden knows I am not an easy player to get lynched for something like that.

The fact that Chaqa didn't read brainbomb's post about the Inventor identity makes me think he's scum even more. He read enough of someone's post to try to get a wagon running on him without being careful. Scum do that. It's entirely possible Chaqa knows bb is town and saw an opportunity to get him hung. Town are careful and read for clues, scum are careless and try to trump up evidence to get players hung.
