I was merely thrown off by what seemed to me to be a total nonsequitir by Yeoman in the midst of several posts about gay porn sites and whether Yellowjacket would do King Atom. I attempted to characterize it as being in sync with the rest of the recent portion of the thread as humor. If it didn't come out that way, my bad.

I can be plenty offensive, I just prefer not to do so when it's not deliberate.

If you call someone gay as an insult - that is homophobic because it implies there is something wrong with being gay (at least that show I read it). But as it turns out HM was insulting anyone, he was just being very cryptic.

That's true enough, but saying "you have a very odd way of outing yourself" doesn't necessarily mean, you're gay and that's a bad thing. Also I'm still not at all sure how Yeoman outed himself. I'm just not following the leaps everyone is making.

Listen fellas, you can't argue with King Atom on this. He bases his points on belief, not logic and reasoning. You can't counter belief with reasoning. It can't be done.

I suggest you leave this guy alone and hope he either
A: Has an encounter with reality some day
B: Doesn't have any kids / has kids who outgrow him
C: Gets mowed down in the name of God or Napoleon or whatever

All respect to Napoleon, but I think France is a waste of a seat in the U.N. (As are many others, but they don't seem to know what the hell they're doing anyways.) And just because I suggest one thing, doesn't mean I don't listen to reason. If I didn't listen to reason, I'd have gotten my ex-pregnant, I'd be officially a "Mad Dictator," and I'd probably not be as successful as I am today.

@Thucy: I don't need you trying to prove you've outdone me in the fourteen years I've been around, but I shall tell you of my greatness.
I'll start with the simple ones:
-I know most of you dispute that this is much of anything, but I have created my own nation, set up a code of laws, instituted a highly stable government, and have obtained the support of two citizens.
-I have made it into the Commonwealth Governor's School. If any of you truly knew what that meant, your respect for me would skyrocket.
-I have saved the lives of many a homeless (wo)man. (I could care less about them, but I forgot why I even did that in the first place.)
-I have hi-fived Al Gore.
-I am an excellent musician.

And most importantly, I have imagination beyond that which is conceivable to a majority of the people in this world. I know that nobody will respect me for that, but I do intend on turning my ideas into novels, movies, video games, TV shows, anything and everything that is physically possible for me to do. And most of you will look at me and have your doubts, simply telling me to dream on. And I shall. One day, I shall finish with the world I've created for myself and you all shall experience it for yourselves. For I am a writer, you can say I'm a dreamer, and that's something none of you will ever be.

But, as I said...nothing I can or will do will impress any of you, unless I become rich and famous. Then you all will look back and be sad. But it doesn't matter. Once I post this, all that will happen is a great deal of trolling. I will simply be ridiculed and that's ok. Because if I were to care about what any of you had to say, I would merely be distracted from my goals. And thus brings me to the main reason why I'm leaving...distraction.

I suspect those homeless men and women also had imaginations beyond that which is conceivable to a majority of the people in this world. Still, it was generous of you to throw them a few bucks for a little somethin somethin to get them through the night.

You know KA I have also thought that my imagination is far more vivid than other people's.

My evidence was that I would always want to talk about what I had imagined, other people never seemed to think about it.

However I have come to the conclusion that they have the same capacities for imagination but simply choose either not to use them or not talk about them, or they do not find them to be extraordinary (I find this unlikely).

It is, therefore, I think fairly common for someone like your or me, or anyone really, to think - you know if they could make my imagination verbatim into a movie it would be a great movie. I don't doubt it. I do doubt that it makes you different.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't aspire anyway - look at George Lucas.

I'm also not interested in outdoing you but since you seem so self-assured I wondered what your basis was for such.
