Really Dexter? You clearly have it all wrong making a joke about doing things like raping children and torturing dogs is not ok because it's explicit, I want to know where I said anything involving killing/hurting/maiming anyone. You took what I said and made it as extreme as possible, took it to a place where I didn't even think it was possible to go. If I made a joke like this: "We should kill all the black people in the world, because they're black" that's not ok, that's fucked up but I didn't do that. Dexter you really need to lighten up.

The thoughts you expressed about "niggers" is the sort of crap that enables and encourages crimes to continue. Your jokes are ugly. Making comments inferring that someone is less than human because of their race (haha, so funny) is not very far removed at all from actions that actually treat them as less than human. You might dress it up as a joke - structure it with a pun or a surprise at the end... but the underlying meaning is no different than simply trying to dehumanize someone directly. Do you think it is any accident that all the jokes are about minorities? ...in this case, about blacks? Jokes like these are at best passive aggressive... and intended to put down, and keep down, those who make us uncomfortable... in your case, blacks. A generation ago African Americans were lynched in this country... black women were raped as a method to terrorize their community... children were murdered. Thousands of blacks were lynched in the 20th Century. Thousands. Whole communities burned to the ground. They were denied the vote... they were denied protection of the law... they were denied adequate education and access to services. They were intimidated and scared into compliance with humiliating laws and practices made to make them feel inferior... drinking out of different water fountains, for crying out loud... barred from restaurants... barred from pools... expected to never look in the eye of a white... expected to walk in the gutter when passing a white person... assumed guilty if ever accused of anything by a white... etc., etc.

I don't see how making fun of a class of people that has been abused for so long and so consistently can be funny. I simply don't think it is funny to kick a man when he is down. ...and make no mistake about it, the black man is down in this country. We, as whites, have done our best to make it so for countless generations.

They can make fun of themselves because it is about their family. They are a community. It is like momma jokes. You can make fun of your mom, but the second someone else does, they have messed with your family.

No Onar, I am not saying that all black people are alike. I am saying that something that is said within a family is for the family. If you have a sister and you call her dumb and stupid and all kinds of names, you know that you still love her. If someone else says that about your sister, you kick his ass. Same thing.

If I saw a thread that said "Iceray0 sucks" subheading "I hate Iceray0" I would avoid that thread because it would piss me off. I tend to not subject myself to things that piss me off. Iceray, please attempt to actually understand what racism is.

In this case, the phenomenon he's referring to is not exclusive to the black community; it is simply a part of it because of folks like, well, you. Oppressed and mocked groups band together and resist. In this case, the older generations (and many of the new generation) have created reason for the black community to band together.

So, no, that's not racist. Please at least sort of attempt to understand what it is.

Finally: People step in to stop inappropriate things. That's what Dexter's doing here.
