Fig, I don't know how he could possibly have a real explanation for that game. I mean, come on... It is so blatant. And check the IP logs. I'll bet he has the same IP entries as Diplomat1824. He appeared at the same time Diplofool announced his retirement from the gameand the forums (which hasn't actually happened, but that is another subject).

Draugnar, Diplomat1824 was a pain in the forums, but I don't think he ever committed any cheating. Not sure why you are dragging his name into this.

Just the coincidence of the names and the timing. I'll drop it though.

Well, I've been desperately trying to let him give me his side before taking action, but the clearout starts here. I'll be back with an explanation of what I've done in a bit

Right, I've banned 12 accounts (many have been inactive for some time, or had just returned this weekend to try and cover up).
I have left one account, and this will be left to play. It hasn't gained from any illegal actions, and will be their warning. If they chose to cheat again they will be banned completely.

Yeah, it was pretty blatant once you looked through the record.

While some may complain that moderators don't do enough, I give you (and the others) kudos on a task that too many have opinions on how to do better. Yes, god forbid you may give someone a chance to respond before you declare them guilty.

Why leave one account? The guy is obviously a pain. Do you really want him here? Just ban all of his accounts.

i think we deserve to know the name of the account that wasn't banned. would you join a game with him, Invictus? i can't put my faith in the hands of mods, i would like to do my own checking

please provide a list of all banned accounts as well the one that wasn't banned

He tainted his own name by his actions. His crime is public record, so should his name be. He has committed crimes against Diplomacy and should be outed.

I work for a marketing firm. Granted, I'm the head of IT, but I had to show an ability to think on my feet and contribute Tech ideas to advance our client's marketing objectives, so phrases and the like come somewhat naturally to me.

I won a contest once to name a pizza joints mascots (a couple of black labs). I came up with Pepper and Roni (pepperoni) and the pizza joint was Ron's Pizza Pub so it fit in with that name. I won 25 free pizzas which were used over the course of a half dozen or so monthly Dip sessions.
