Yeah, if it were more than 2 rounds, some of us (me included) probably wouldn't have time to commit to it.

Had a feeling that might be the case, happy to be a sub, my poor GR is my own fault! For what its worth, whilst I do agree with Chaqa's (and various other peoples) points on RR, 2WL made it clear at the start that was a criteria for this tourney.

Just to clarify, it appears as though there is some confusion as to the number of rounds in this tournament. There are three rounds - the group stage, second round, and finals.

Group winners and the next 7 highest scoring players will advance from the group stage to the second round.

Second round consists of two groups of 7 each. Group winners and top 7 advance.

Finals are 7 players. Highest scoring player wins, solos only count for points, tiebreaker is center count as outlined in the original post.

Again, sorry for the confusion.

Group B is shuffled and good to go. Double check to make sure you have correct orders entered. Someone put in orders before the shuffle.

Group E is shuffled and ready to go. Double check that any pause votes are taken down and correct orders are entered.

Group G is shuffled and ready to go.

For you wiseguys who like to ready all holds before a game is shuffled, please don't do that.

I would never do that. Bre -> Gas, Par -> Gas, Mar -> Gas is much better!

No. This time I'll set qualification by all statistics that don't matter instead of just RR. Next time will be:

1. Points - everyone above 5000 automatically gets in, because points are the best determinant of skill. Maybe I'll have a Diplomat-only tournament.
2. Donator level - gold gets in first, followed by silver, followed by bronze. Pay to play.
3. Likes - abge, myself, and zultar have the most +1s on the site and we're also the best players. Coincidence? I don't think so.
4. Former mods - since we tend to pick users who aren't very good to be mods (bo_sox, goldfinger, ghug, etc.) then they should get in first because you don't have to be good to be a mod.
5. Wins - since wins are obviously a poor indicator of a player's skill, they should not be taken into consideration.
